Only one way to find out, right Zeph? Go ask.

I start summer school soon too. Ugh, not looking forward to it, but at least the papers are only half the length of the ones due during the regular school session.

Well, we gotta do what we gotta do. Handle it!

Here’s to you! click click…gargle…bubble bubble…cough gasp cough..whew!

MX292 1.5 sprays. Got that squirt / jizzed on first spray + spray.

Went to go see said lady above. Got mad ghosted on. Hard. I don’t know if she didn’t recognize me, was in a bad mood or what, but she happened to be behind me walking into where she works, held the door open for her, totally ignored me. Another person helped me, ignored me whole time, left, game over. Went out later, hung out with friends, got jacked up. Good social hits though throughout the night. Not quite sure the feel of it. I’ve been using 83 a bit and I’m not sure what it is, but it doesn’t seem to mesh well with me at that dosage. Anyone have any doses they’ve found to work well? Also been trying the 79 but I can’t really put my finger on either of them. This is kinda my first time trying it out in a more appropriate environment, so I dunno. I might have to just keep at doing it solo for both, but really not seeing much with 83.

79 is just kinda… bright? Don’t know how to describe it but I just get a vivid kinda feel to it. Like stuff seem bigger? Does that make sense to anyone? No? I’m crazy and need to be put down? Damn… Just things catch my eye differently. Like random patterns on the ground seem to pop out more, random things just kinda grab my attention, and if something already does, it just seems more… interesting? I really don’t know how to describe it. Its like that becomes more… of the focus of your attention. Not really EVERYTHING, but really RANDOM things, like you’re hyper and crazy while being focused at the same time. Ah well, I can’t really put it into words too well, but I hope that makes some sense otherwise you’re SOL. =/

heads up, random thought coming through.

This is from Diane in one of her posts:

I have tried to teach my children that honesty, even self honesty is better than lies and illusion; that sometimes the easy way is not the best way; that even if it is hard, doing the right thing is the best thing; that sneaking, stealing, lying, cheating and taking short-cuts only stunts your character and keeps you from learning to be strong; and that it is worthwhile to be upstanding and righteous and a model for your friends. Sometimes our kids think we are strict (we aren’t, but we are balanced) but one thing is certain to them. They know they are loved and that they are worth the effort.

Little about me. Grew up with very little supervision. My brother and I were basically allowed to run amuck. If I have to be brutally honest, we were spoiled for everything as long as it came to education. As long as we got our grades, many actions, words or things would be overlooked. This was not done by choice, it was just the situation in my family. From pretty much when we woke up till about 8pm or later at night, we had no parents around.

So here’s my thought. We learn from our parents. In a lot of ways, for some people we tend to grow up to be just like our parents no matter how much we want to deny that. I KNOW my parents love me and all that stuff. Here’s the thing, how do you RAISE a kid? I ask this cause well… I’m a pretty closed off person. I have a dog, I take care of it, but I don’t think I TAKE CARE of it, if that makes sense. I also suppose that is also because of the lack of time I have. I don’t have the time to take him to the park and play with him like I should. It just reminds me of how I was brought up. Do I mind how I was brought up? No. Do I wish it were different? Yes. I’ve had to learn really late in life to create my own structure and to supervise myself. Even now its really hard for me to do so. To be responsible. -_-;; People often tell me I’m “smart” because of all the shortcuts I take. Not like the bad shortcuts like copying homework, but shortcuts that make a process more efficient. I’m not really smart, I’m actually really lazy. Because I’m lazy, I become efficient. I try to get the best results with the least amount of effort. Now, that can be great, but realistically, I’ve found there are very few things you can do that way in the career I am going for. Soooooooo…

Now, kids learn from us no matter what. So for all you parents out there, here’s my question: How do you raise a child so they grow up to be disciplined and responsible man or woman?

I only ask this because I think the biggest trait I lack is discipline. So I guess, this is also for myself too. How do you keep yourself disciplined and motivated? I’m honest, but not with myself. That self-honesty, keeping yourself real with yourself, not lying to yourself discipline. I’ve been finding that so hard to develop and nurture.

And I also really get the feeling that this post can turn into a mad shit storm cluster fuck. So if you know or have a feeling that your response can or will cause some tension, please try and tone it down (NOT because of the way you raise your kids, but because EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION). I’m not feeling to assertive or authoritative enough to have an online argument in this little island of mine. I am not trying to discourage any posts either, just saying that when it comes to ourselves and children, we tend to get very serious and can be easily offended. We were all raised differently and that is fine.
/edit
Actually, fuck toning it down or sending me a PM to avoid conflict. We’re all adults here. These are opinions and lifestyles. They are not being forced on you. So play nice. If you disagree with a lifestyle or the way someone raises their kid, don’t bring the disagreement here. I’m sure many of you would disagree with the traditional Chinese upbringing, but I don’t think you disagreeing with that makes a difference to the 1.6 billion chinese out there.

You bring up some very good points. I was raised in a very similar environment minus the brother part. Woke up at 7, first saw my parents at5-9 in the afternoon. I guess the character shaping will come from whatever source we are given. Me, I was around my friends 10x more than my own mother, so my characteristics were shaped by those friends rather than her. Don’t think that you can’t be a productive person (although I didn’t really see any doubt in your post) just because of a lack of structure. You will develop all skilled required to survive in this world, regardless of WHERE you get them.

I grew up in a similar situation. I’m an only child, my dad moved out when I was young, and both of my parents gave me a lot of freedom to begin with. I left home at 6:30am and returned home around 7:00pm every weekday. Often times, I would come home to a note on the stove and some food to cook or heat. On the weekends, I left friday night and came back sunday night, practically every weekend until my junior year. Needless to say, I was given an extreme amount of freedom for my age. You can imagine how undisciplined I can be sometimes. Only my focus and will power have overcome my lack of discipline, usually in a quick burst of effort in order to make the grade. I was a very average student because unlike you, not even my grades effected my freedom. Hell, my coach always let me play in lacrosse games despite my academic probation (it was always hush hush though, officially I haven’t played several games :stuck_out_tongue:)

But, it also made me an independant person early on. Not a financially independant person, but an emotionally independant person. I rarely went to my parents for help, and if I did, it’s usually because the school contacted them first. :o

That’s a good observation. Sometimes I notice that I tend to be a loner amongst a group because I grew up by myself, rather, I spent all my free time alone, of which I had plenty of.

Again, I feel you man. I’ve only recently begun actively trying to teach myself discipline. From going to all my classes, and all the related school work, to consistently going to the gym, I’ve been trying to learn how to be consistent, focused and disciplined, in order to be more productive.

But you are smart. It’s what allows you to have achieved as much as you have, with as little effort as you have put in. You would not have made the grade with your lack of effort if you didn’t have the intelligence to absorb the material efficiently. You would either have needed to put forth more effort to pass, or simply fail.

I value efficiency a lot, despite the fact that I can be terribly inefficient in some other ways. Efficiency allows you to do many things well, but no one thing extremely well. Perfection demands full attention, and full attention will never be an efficient use of time, when you have several items that require your time. It’s a choice that needs to be made. You can be the best at any one thing, but not everything.

Well, in a way, you are being honest with yourself, by acknowledging that you are not as disciplined as you would like to be. It would be easy to tell yourself that you are disciplined and that you have outside circumstances to blame for the results of your lack of discipline. I don’t consider myself very disciplined, but I do consider myself honest with myself. I do falter (I’d be lying to myself if I said otherwise), but this quarter when I saw my grades, I asked myself, could I have done more/better? The answer is always ‘Of course.’ Perhaps you could say that the my most disciplined aspect is my self-honesty.

But really, the only way is to make it a habit. It’s okay to slip up, no one will ever walk the path of discipline without giving into temptation a couple times. The key is that you get yourself back on track asap. That’s the discipline part, not necessarily staying on track. Everything is always fine when things are running smoothly. It’s when things get derailed that discipline is the most necessary.

Well, you answered the question yourself. We inevitably learn from our parents. So, to teach your children to be disciplined and responsible, you yourself must embody those qualities. You must be disciplined and responsible, and show them what that means through your actions. I guarantee that any lessons that are ingrained in me are because of the way my parents handled certain situations. Of course, that doesn’t account for teenage rebellion, in which case they may be deliberately be unproductive, undisciplined, and irresponsible.

In a quick flip of perspective, isn’t there the possibility that you wouldn’t be as concerned about discipline today if you had never had the chance to understand its importance by experiencing a lack of it? So perhaps your parents gave you the chance to learn discipline on your own, rather than risking you rebelling against discipline for who knows how long.

Word.

well, I guess when I say I’m not honest with myself… its mostly like…

“Ok time to get shit done. Gotta do x and y and z. Should spend 1hr on this section, review this and do these practice problems for another hour.”
Followed soon by:
“Man, don’t worry, you got this shit. You went to class right? NO WORRIES! Oh, you skipped today, man, don’t even trip. Just skim the lecture notes. AIITE TIME TO PARTY SON.”

First thought, obviously when I am being realistic and responsible. Just somewhere, either my lack of motivation, discipline, laziness or w/e, somewhere in the transition of that thought, the action never occurs. LOL.

I have a hard time getting myself to really do what I think.

BLAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Anyhow… on here to toss a report.
Yesterday went to class, saw a cute asian girl across the room.
Today, decided to change where I sat in class.

Ok, I’d say this was a good hit. 3 hours of class. So I’m basically on the right side of class, last seat in row. Throughout class, she’d look to her right and back a lot. She’d go through her backpack to her right and just… rustle around and look for nothing or put random shit away or reput shit away and she’d kinda look in my direction as she did so. I can understand at the beginning when you’re setting up your shit… but throughout class? Dunno, maybe I’m lookin too hard at it and wanting this to be a hit… False positive maybe.
This is in a VERY important class. It is by far the most difficult pre-req required for anyone looking to get into med, dent, pharm. Taking a WHOLE YEAR in 9 weeks. So pretty much everyone is focused in class and she’s taking time to mess around with her shit? Ok, now I’m thinking too much. That’s it for today. Oh, and upclose, she wasn’t as cute as I thought yesterday… damn my eyes! deceiving me! xD

Maybe that cutie from my earlier post is working…

There goes my hero, watch him as he goes
There goes my hero, he’s ordinary

For sure man, I feel it. Case in point, I’m writing this from the library. I was doing some reading and I got bored. Oh well. It’s okay, I tell myself, you can always cram for midterms/finals and besides it’s more than I usually do, so I’m giving myself credit anyways. Make sure to give yourself credit where it is due. Don’t swamp yourself with self applied pressure, your parents and professors already pressure you enough.

Like I said, I think it’s more important that you recognize that there is room for improvement. The next step is, as you said, taking action. Just like picking up a cute girl, sometimes you just need to sack up and go for it. Sometimes that means for ing yourself to read, eventually you’ll find your rhythm and it’ll flow. If you keep thinking about how you aren’t doing the things you should be doing, rather than simply doing them, you’re just procrastinating.

Or maybe simply, you need to allow yourself to truly want to study, rather than it being an obligation. Sometimes time off doing something else (especially something much worse, like a shitty job) can get that going. I know my year off really set things straight and I came back wanting to study so that I can get good grades.

I dunno man, like I said, we’re in similar boats, I don’t know if my thoughts will be helpful to you, but they have helped me.

Hey Zeph -

Care for some thoughts from an OF? When it comes to children learning from parents - the quote that always comes to mind is that “Learning is caught, not taught.”

In other words your kids will learn more from you than you will ever image. But it most likely won’t be what you tell them, it will be what you show them in how you live your life. A very simplistic example would be telling your kids not to smoke while working through a pack a day. But you get the drift.

The key thing to remember is that whatever conditons you create in the house will become the “norm” for them. If you have a tight nuclear family that does things together, then that will be “normal”. This is pretty much the case even when the children know home is out of whack. Most adults who are physically abusive in one fashion or another were abused themselves as kids, right? A lot of people who are abusive know at some level it is wrong, but they get caught in behavior patterns that have often been set in childhood and that makes them so very difficult to break out of.

What you have to do in any process is think about the end product you want. What kind of adult do you want your kids to become? Then do your backwards planning. And this is something you will need to do with your spouse.

The catch with the spouse part is that you will really need to know who she is and how she grew up. You will be surprised how much “home of origin” baggage you will carry into a marriage. And that “baggage” is not necessarily bad. The important thing is to know what it is and why. The better you understand yourself - often by understanding your family and how you were raised - the better off you will be able to start this conversation with your spouse. Because then you will have a better idea of what is “core value” and what is family tradition. Core values you stick to. Family traditions - well you can use some of yours, some of hers and make up some of your own as a family. But too many people mistake family tradition for core value and that leads to big problems.

A simplistic idea of what we want is a responsible, independent adult capable of making the appropriate moral decisions in their life. How do we do that? A lot of it is old fashioned: chore charts, rewards, appropriate punishments, teaching them to do things for themselves at an appropriate age. My middle schooler can cook a simple meal for the family and do their own laundry. They get an allowance. They are taught beginning in elementary school to budget their money. The older ones get paid extra to mow the yard. Cleanliness and neatness standards - even for their bedrooms - are known and enforced. It comes easier for some than others … lol. And all this - to include the philosophy behind it - is constantly discussed with them. My kids know why they are taught to cook, do laundry, etc. Not because I am lazy but because they need to know how to do stuff like that to be a functioning adult.

(Note: I have found that driving kids to their activities is like having a captive audience. Forget the radio or ipods. Good time to take soundings of where they are, how they are doing, and let them know what is on your mind.)

The toughest part about raising kids is having the discipline to stick to what you think is right. It is way too easy to slack off. And that slacking off is multi-dimensional. You will have to show a great deal of self-discipline to consistantly model the behavior you want your kids to learn. Because again it will do no good to say the “right” things if you consistantly do just the opposite.

My two cents - from a very imperfect parent.

Haha, I just came back from library for only like 1.5 hours. But thats 1.5 hours more than I would usually study… -_-;; But yeah, forcing yourself to do shit you don’t want to… fuck it, gotta get shit done. Trying to get to my goal takes a lot of shitty ass work but you reap what you sow. FUCK.

You know, I think deep down I was thinking along these lines, but just didn’t want to accept it. Was hoping if I had kids, they’d be better than me and willing to accept the “do as I say and not as I do” attitude mostly cause I’m afraid I won’t ever be responsible, caring or active enough with my family to start one. Then again, my friends tell me I think too much and worry too much. Thanks for your input BH, and you’re def not an OF IMO (for me OF starts around 65, honestly), and you might be imperfect, but you’re definitely far ahead of everyone else.

H m m m m . . .
Have a small break, a few hours. Took a test, know I made a few mistakes (thought I ROCKED THE SHIT OUTTA IT, then I reviewed and found out I made a lot of stupid ass errors, sigh) but w/e. I’m done.

Ok, my brain is REALLY fuzzy cause I haven’t slept much, but yesterday’s mix was pretty wow.

I THINK this is what I wore (I really do apologize, I should have written it down, but I was in a rush)

P83 x1, 10mcg (90% sure)
IG x1 (positive on this)
IFM x1 (positive on this)
TAA x1, 10mcg (90% sure)
^^^ all that to front of neck
Openness x1, str x1 (to hand after I smoked during break to hide smell)

Ok, so initially, I thought this girl who sat to my left was just normally a really friendly and talkative person so I wrote off her looks and smiles as regular for her behavior and not pheros. But when I wore that, it became blatant that not only was she friendly and talkative but the pheros had an effect. LOTS of IOIs from her yesterday. Playing with hair, lots of looking over at me trying to make eye contact (I say this cause its not just a quick glance, it was a look), and LOTS of leg play, showing off legs, etc (so much so that the guy in front of her was lookin over). Literally from when she walked into class till pretty much the end of class. She’s white, I’d say at least 19+, maybe 20.

For the target girl, the asian girl, it seemed like IOIs were less blatant. A few IOIs but better concealed this time IMO. Still caught a few when I happened to notice, but apparently I was trying to pay attention yesterday… happens when a test is the next day eh?

Also when I went to get food later… wow. Ok, so I go to Mickey D’s ONLY for chicken nuggets cause IMO that and their fries are the only thing good there. Feel free to disagree, but w/e. Now the person who takes the orders should know me, cause pretty much every time I go, she’s there. Normally I go at odd down times when business is really slow. The thing is, strangely, I’ve never gone when wearing pheros and 80% of the time, I look like trash cause I’ve been at home all day studying or just woke up from a nap (I don’t know why I seem to crave chicken nuggets after naps or late at night) so I tend to go in like bball shorts and some trashy Tshirt, cause hey, that shit doesn’t matter if you’re going drive thru. That day, the entire interaction was different. No bland, boring, blah interaction. At the start, it seemed like the regular, pay, get food, drive off. Gave her my CC, she took it and had to run off to do something. When she came back to give me CC, all smiles and told me my food was cooking in an apologetic way. She had to go back to help but when she came back, more interactive conversation, lots of smiling and I would say an attempt on her part on kino. My friends know me as not very touchy. I try to minimize any physical contact with anyone but friends and family. I say she attempted kino cause when she handed me my CC she pushed her hand into mine. When she handed me my food, tried the same thing but hell, if you can break ankles while ballin, I broke her wrist and faked her out. LOL. Then again, hell, I might be overthinking shit again, so take this “hit” with a grain of salt.

Eh, I had a minor hit today, but I forgot what I wore. Go figure, I put it on less than 12 hours ago and I can’t remember. Getting no sleep + test + crash in bed after eating = WTF happened today? I say minor hit cause person taking my order opened me and I don’t really know if she was being friendly or what not. Give me a break, I just took a test that covered 3 weeks of material in 3 days. Had a pack of cigs (blah, don’t normally smoke but under a lot of stress I do) in my car and she asked me about them. They were 27s. She said she never heard of em or seen em, asked about em, blah blah blah and held convo with me when she should have been helping other people (had at least 4 customers in front and 1 person waiting in drive through). It wasn’t really a LONG convo, but definitely 2-3 minutes longer than it should have been. And how the hell do you not know of 27s if you smoke? Oh well.

I know I said I’d try to get to the Raw Power series, but here’s my reasoning right now. Raw Power is well, raw, direct, and in your face. That’s the impression I get of it. I don’t really know anyone in my class so I’d rather not bring such a strong -none/sexual sig. Rather start off friendly get people interested before I hit em with that stuff. But hell, I’ll be honest, that stuff is pretty strong for me I think. Not sure if it works well with my body chemistry.

Just posting what I wore. Will report about it later, just don’t want to forget what I sprayed.

MX313, 1 spray
TAA, 1 spray, 10 mcg
IG, 1 spray, 10 mcg

Heavy ghosting.

MX292, 1 spray
P83, 1 spray, 10mcg
MX272, 1 spray

GREAT mix. =D

So first mix, I felt like I totally ghosted. Really bad. Classmates just seemed to not notice I was around at all, or thats what it felt like. lol. xD

Second one. Wow. Very social and flirty and well… fun. Hung out with friends. Friend “D” and I had a pretty good time. A bit of flirting at first. As the evening progressed it just kinda ramped up. A lot and really fast. As did physical space. From literally normal, friendly personal space to no personal space. Lotta playful touching throughout the night. Near the end she’d rest her head a lot against my shoulder. At several points throughout the night I couldn’t help but notice her smelling me. Her nose was pretty much an inch away from my neck and then sometimes her nose would be against my shirt just kinda like waiting, “should I get closer… should I not…” LOL. Then there was the eye glaze. :open_mouth: The one where their eyes scream “stfu already…” and well, yeah. Anyhow, didn’t proceed further, sent her off and went home.

So far with MX313, the few times I’ve used it, it really seems to just not work with me, or maybe I’m not working with it. I’m not sure. I just seem to disappear off the social radar much easier. Even when I tried in earlier tests to buffer with TAA and light IG, results seemed fairly dismal for me. Going to try another MX from the series and see how that one goes and come back to 313 and see if I notice anything new.

MX292: This product is really getting interesting. It’s very moldable and fluid. Social, sexual and fun. It’s the best of pretty much everything. I’m hoping they allow or come out with unscented soon or maybe let out the recipe…

MX272: Might have to order a full bottle soon. This is like IFM except it works anytime. That’s the feeling I get with this. Think I’m on my third bottle? It seems to give off a trustworthy, friendly, erasing you off the radar in a good way kinda feel.

Anyhow, haven’t slept in like 42 hours so… night.

Erasing off the radar in a good way…Can you elaborate?

Like… they don’t see you as a threat? They don’t see you as a player or someone going after them. Kinda like puts them at ease in that way? Not really sure how else to describe it. haha sorry. >_>

I guess when you meet someone for the first time, you can might be cautious about how you act and behave around them. This kinda makes it seem like this isn’t the first time being around them, it’s like they’ve known you for a while. That kind of comfort. Rapport type feel to it? It kinda jumps past that “first impression” thing.

Like, flying under the radar? That’s what came to mind.

well, I guess I was trying to use the analogy of radar as something that you’re trying to be aware of, whether it be a person, thing or event. Like if you’re at home with all your friends and chillin, your radar isn’t always on. You know everyone, familiar environment, nothing to really be “aware” of, you’re comfortable. With MX272, it gets rid of that, you fly under that radar, but at the same time, it seems to help build (or help establish rapport) quicker, like the person knows you. Like person doesn’t have to decide if you’re talking to her cause you’re hitting on her, you think she’s hot, etc. Like how IFM just calms women when they’re on their period and can sometimes put women who are tense or high strung at ease. Similar concept, but it I would like to say it can be used anytime, regardless of period or not. It just seems to be a mix of IG + IFM + rapport. I guess thats the best way to describe how it “feels.” I get the feeling that it puts females at ease and they are more comfortable around you. I believe PUA call that kind of awareness or w/e the bitch shield. I suppose the mix seems to take that down.

MX292 x2
MX272 x1
P83 x1, 10mcg
IFM x1

To front of neck.

Talkative friendly girl I mentioned a few posts back gave off a TON of IOIs with this on. CONSTANT hair flipping throughout class + a good amount of eye contact.
Another student I’m in class with also gave off a few IOIs, fairly subtle about it.

Damn, I just love 292 and 272. I think I might have to order some more. Those two are great by themselves but they also work REALLY well with other molecules or mixes, well to a certain extent, but they play really well with other molecules better than anything I’ve used so far.

MX292 is probably one of the best sexual/attraction mixes I’ve used hands down. I’m tempted to try out Steve’s ICM mixes since I have the stuff on hand. Last time I tried his mix I only let it sit for 20 or so hours (Yes, I’m an impatient mother fucker and didn’t let it composite right). Snoopy let his sit for a MONTH, so I guess I should make the mix in a few days or so when my brain isn’t being destroyed by school and try it out a month from now. xD

Anyhow, I don’t think I’ll be on much to report in a while. I’ll still test and take notes on em, but there’s a good chance I won’t have the time to put up results on here for a good 6? 7? weeks. Maybe longer. Hope everyone’s well in the meantime. If things aren’t well, I hope things get better for you. If you’re doing all right, here’s to hoping it stays well or better.

Oh shit, btw, MX313 x1.5ish + 3x neroli (light)
I actually got decent hits from this. Same talkative girl from above responded pretty well. Not as well as MX292 but w/e. Also small IOIs from random people I ran into during the day. Still can’t figure this one out. I don’t get how I can somehow ghost or get no reaction at 1 spray but get more at 1.5 or maybe more? wtf, how do I OD on like AMMO around 3 sprays but get good hits at 1-2 and this raw power is supposedly a higher dose and almost straight, raw -none and can spray more? I DUN GET IT (actually, I do, I just can’t figure out MX313 yet). Ok, I need the rest of my brain cells for class and can’t spare anymore for pheros. kthxbye.

Been reading for a bit now just never stopped to say hi and subscribe. Looking forward to more of your reports!
