Another IOI Hit
I received several IOIs last night but wasn’t wearing any of my experimental combinations – just A314. I thought I’d share.
Amy and I just returned from Hawaii and decided to go out last night. To nourish my skin, I applied Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E as a lotion and sprayed three hits of Versace Man Eau Fraiche. Then I put three drops of A314 Akuto Version 18 Batch 2 (yes, I still have some of that stuff!) into the palm of my hand, rubbed my hands together, then applied it behind my ears, down my jaw line, under the chin and neck area, hair and finally the crease where the forearm and bicepts meet.
Now, I’ve worn the Versace before without so much as someone even mentioning the smell. And the cocoa butter smells like, well, cocoa butter – everyone knows that smell. I didn’t expect to get much attention at all last night. Well, I was wrong.
Conversations arose with other ladies, and I guess I did start them, but somehow we got on the subject of us returning from Hawaii and we were told that we smelled like the beach. Ok weird…can’t be me because A314 doesn’t smell like the beach and neither does the Versace. But more and more females kept telling us we smelled good and sweet and they wanted to know who it was. I simply deferred it to Amy saying she always smells so good.
Amy and I finally got parted by different conversations and I guess I walked away while talking to another person, and I kid you not, this girl walks up, stands next next to me and takes a deep whiff. “Yep, it’s you!” she exclaims. “You smell like…sugar!” The female I was talking to said she smelled it too and noticed it when she first started talking to me and Amy but couldn’t figure it out.
The whole night was a combination of females just coming up and smelling me whether I started the conversation or not (I guess word got around at this point) or males just talking and talking away after I simply said “hi, how are you?” The shell lei I was wearing was a good conversation starter because it led into the Hawaii discussion, which then led into talks of surfing. But then the talks would go to snowboarding, car drifting, etc which had nothing to do with Hawaii. It was nuts.
I’ve heard that A314 is like rockstar juice. If you don’t make a move, people won’t really approach because you’re seen as too much above their pay grade. But if you start a conversation, they engage immediately. Last night was my first time experiencing that kind of effect. Usually I only wear a couple drops and it was always in combination with a lot of other pheros. But by itself, this stuff can be deadly (in a good way, of course!).
So I get up this morning and I see a Facebook message from someone who found me on FB and asked what was I wearing last night. Seriously, I never, NEVER received this kind of attention when I wore the Versace plain-jane. I’ve even worn it in combination with my attention getters Body Butter lotions and didn’t get this kind of attention. I think the A314 scent got into people’s heads and then they started noticing everything else. And the combination of Versace and A314 (don’t forget the cocoa butter!) makes people want to smell you up and down.
I must say, I did get a nice rise from females coming straight up to me, putting their noses and inch from my neck and taking in a deep sniff. When I turned to them, their eyes were rolling back into their sockets. I love that look…
