Holly Mom’s trying to set up their teen aged daughters with a SteveO!
I have a new mix that I spent some time with toilofday researching. I’m not going to release it yet as I need much more testing to be done to confirm my suspicions of how it might work.
I like to go to StarBucks during the weekday to have a cup of Java and people watch. I find it to be a ever changing crowd and a good research venue.
Anyway there was absolutely no sign of anything out of the ordinary when I walked in. It was actually weird as it was the first time ever I wasn’t even greeted when I walked in. That was strange as their was a training going on right by the front door. A guy was being trained by the manager with an empty seat next to him.
The server guy who took my order called me sir several times and was polite but with an air of respect for me. None of the two girls working said a thing to me. I was thinking OD or not enough time for difusion.
So I sit in one of the lazy couches and take up the alpha male posture: legs spread wide, arms out to side, totally relaxed about my environment. A guy walks in the store and asks if the couch next to me was taken. I say only by you. He was appreciative and said it was for his wife.
His wife came in and sat down and he pulled up a chair to the coffee table in the middle. The wife initiated a conversation about my Razr sitting on the table. The conversation progressed to career and pretty much I know their life story now. It wasn’t overbearing but a very friendly vibe.
A very cute blond (B7.5) came from somewhere in back and joined the training in the empty chair which was adjacent to where I sat. I noticed the girl keep looking over her shoulder in my direction and whenever I tried to make eye contact she looked away.
OK so here’s where the lady in the couch next to me says she’s pretty don’t you think. She said it loud enough so that the blond would hear it. At first I thought well maybe she is trying to do me a favor. I said loudly enough for the blond to hear me too, Yeah she’s alright but I’m not sure she could afford to take me out on a StarBucks salary.
The fair skinned blond turned around and was obviously aware we spoke about her. She was RED. She turned around quickly to the training but she was visibly shaken. She kept squirming around in her chair.
Then the trainer lady takes the two new hires to behind the counter, for on the job training. Before they walked away I could see the lady I was talking to wink at the girl. I’m thinking what the hell is this lady doing. She must think I’m a total dweeb and can’t get a girl.
Then the lady practically starts interviewing me. I was amused but polite. She started speaking to me about her daughter after she got what I assume were the right answers to her questions. She was like she’s very pretty but shy and she wants a good guy to take her out. At this time I was like well I wish you the best of luck (I’m thinking mother trying to set up daughter, she must be really lame if she can’t get a date herself).
Just then the guy and girl being trained walk towards the door and the guy says by and the girl comes over sheepishly to where we are sitting. Guess who the ladies daughter was? OK this post is long enough but the mix was supposed to be sexual, but also very female approachable. Not sure what happened yet, but looks like I have a date this weekend.
I’m confused because if it is a sexual mix why did mom feel so comfortable setting up her 18 year old daughter with a complete stranger. Dad didn’t mind at all. They were very friendly and it was just plain weird!
On the way home I stopped by the local pawn shop. The girl that works there is always nice but again another weird hit. She came over to the DVD section and sat in a chair and started a conversation with me. Like I said she is always nice after all she works there, but today it was like she was talking to an old friend. I’m not really into her but I am pretty certain I could have taken it further with her.
I will continue to test the mix out. I need to take a trip to the local market where all the hot girls in town work at. One of my girlfriends works there too, but I don’t think she’s there today. This should give me another test for the day. Let’s hope this one works, it has some real promise to it.
