Since I’ve started mixing a few Q’s have come to mind.
Do different products react with each other? This mainly comes about from my Ammo, P79 experiments. Ok, so its hardly what you’d call a major mix or anything but still, thinking about it, if I apply them on top of each other do they react and make a better product or are they inert to each other and it makes no difference.
Only testing can really tell if they make a superior/inferior product when mixed together or when applied seperately. If anyone has had any experiences combined and seperate applications I’d love to hear about it.
I feel it does. I can have a product and get nothing with it and then use it with a product I am really familar with and get a reaction I didnt expect.
I notice with P79 it can intensify what your already using. Like if you have on Instant Openness and you get alot of idle chatter. Add P79 to that and you will feel like telling them to shut the hell up because it really increases the talk alot.
When I used it with Shine I got almost a euphoric feeling.
Same go’s for alot of other products I have used. Like Androstenol , Tal and cops. All of them have there effects on me and others. Cops of course will arouse and cause interest. Tal gives a strong alpha female sort of vibe with a kick of sexy. nols are a friendly social pheromone. Dolly made a mix called MX216( not for sale in store) that Jas made up for us to try out with those 3 products and the effects are amazing. Highly sexual, uplifting sexy impowering. I have two names for that mix but I think only one Jas can use for the product and thats “Hello Dolly”
I call it “The woody maker” snort. Sorry if I shocked you, I have been getting negged for that LOL.
I dont know, I have heard of guys mixing it with A314 but to me thats just over kill and a waste of product. A314 is so perfect on its own. This is just my opinion though.
MX134 would be overkill as well because its the female version of A314.
Not sure with MX105.
Its gonna be different for each person. I think its something you should test out before considering not doing it. Maybe it would be whats perfect for you even if it dosnt work for others. I think we can gage a range of reactions from a product but each person will fall somewhere different in that range.
When I first started in this forum, I pretty much would see a experienced users rave about a mix and I would try it with no results. I had so much trouble getting any reaction with cops because everyone kept saying only use a 1 to 5 drops so I did what they said. Dolly finally told me to use something like 10 and I am thinking holy crap 10 So I tried it and sure enough it worked. Some people just need 2, I need 10. It makes it hard to figure out good mixes from others info. That why I consider this as a Hobby more then just buying something to try out.
Based on my experience, P79 stacks with pretty much everything that you combine it with since its effects serve to enhance/amplify other components rather than project one of its own. You should have no problems using it with Ammo, although if you intend to use the two as a combo (applied separately), I would advise that you apply the P79 first and then the Ammo on top to take advantage of the enhanced sillage/dispersion effects of the Ammo cologne base.
Mixing with other components that do have unique and distinct effects will result in mixes that are blended and in some cases, a combination of the individual effects, and in other cases, a whole new set of effects beyond what was originally expected. That’s why mixing is inherently a trial and error process - you could stumble on effects you never expected, create a super mix that has all the major effects that you were seeking, or make an incoherent soup that seems to have no obvious effects.
There are indeed interactions between components in the sense of steering the mix in one direction or another based on the component’s effects. Try to think of mixing as writing music … Which notes do you want to make more pronounced and obvious, and which ones you want to be subtle? Also, which notes would clash with your other notes and end up ruining the song? Volume and intensity play a part as well.
Kitten has a good step-by-step analysis of the concept in her curious combos post:
I’ve made hundreds of mixes, and I can confirm that you can also stack mixes with each other so that they can produce separate and specific effects based on how much of each mix you apply. The major advantage is that I can fine tune the effects to what I need at the moment, and I don’t have to carry the dozens of components normally needed to produce the desired effects.
Good luck with your exploration of the art of mixing!
I’ll keep experimenting, although my set of pheros isnt that big at the moment. I think I’ll start keeping a log of different mixes and when I’ve a decent amount of info I’ll post the results.
The only problem I can see is that there are alot of variables outside of our control, the main one being the people we effect. It’s kind of hard to determine the effects unless we approach the same person and hope they havent changed at all since the last time we ‘tested’ on them.
I’m also a bit cautious about trying pheros on my female friends since I literally had one squirming. I feel kinda guilty about that, from what I’ve read it seems to me that I was only enhancing what this girl felt towards me but still, for me, it didnt feel right. If we do get together I want it to be 100% sure that it was me, and not the feelings she got being around me due to the pheromones, otherwise I’d be dependent on using these products just to keep up.
