This is not a true portrayal of the Jersey shore. Guido’s make up a very small percentage of the population.
I know I grew up there and I knew not one person like that. The show should be called Staten Island comes down for summer

I thought the real world at times and the city (whitney port’s fine though) were sad excuses for shows but mtv really stepped it up (or down, depending how you look at it) with the jersey shore. I wore really dark sunglasses for the five minutes I watched because the skin colors were pissing me off so much it turned them more actual tan and less orange. it made it a bit more tolerable, but the show still annoyed the heck out of me

I find the show to be pretty ridiculous, yet slightly humorous. I’ve lived in NJ my whole life and have rarely seen people with the same characteristics displayed by the cast of Jersey Shore. Everybody hates on Jersey, but I find it to be pretty welcoming, it pretty much has everything..
I will admit though, from my travel experience, residents here tend to have an “attitude”, particularly while driving lol
the cops out there are evil I got stopped at a red light and because of my idoit friend talking back to the cop I got a 150 ticket for doing 90 in a 35mph zone. I was not doing 90mph i was stopped at a red light. Yeah jersey sucks!!!
I had no idea what you guys were even talking about..I did not even realize it was a new show…I just saw the words staten island and was joking around..actually truth is a lot of people from Staten Island are very stuck up..I had to now google MTV jersey Shore..
First off let me say I hardly watch MTV nowadays becuase I hate reality TV, second MTV sucks, third this shows is horrendous…
