Mx297: could it have a side effect, how does it work, and what hits does it give?

They will probably shelve that too.

Now the real test would be for MX297 and another Akuto scented product side by side.

Such as?

MX347 lol

Actually we should try doing a akuto vs FF21 cross reference when it comes to ammo to see what works better overall. I know both fragrances have been described greatly but it will be interesting to see what hits better based on people proximity, setting, and application points. Problem is I dunno if anyone would be up for customizing ammo in akuto lol.

I’ve read someone had Akuto at 20% had a custom made AMMO

Okay, MX390 is a mutant 297 huh. We’ll I’ll just have to order it and test myself…I actually still have a MX297 5ml left over. It will be interesting to test next to each other. Also, how can the scent really make much difference…I mone itslefs if it’s the same should have the same results…although I gotta wonder, why change it to MX390…if you’re not gonna do some changing of the mix it self.

Too bad MX390 is not coming back though. Jstn supposedly got the last one in the store. The hype about MX297 is over its time to move on to new and perhaps greener pastures.

Not to bust on MX’s but I rather make simpler mixes that I can duplicate rather than grow a loving attachment to a mix I will not see again. Its like fallin in love and breakin my heart over and over. I know for myself I can only take so much of that even if it is sick to love a number

MX390 has a fresher scent, its that simple.

It does not effect the pheromone only the diffusion and trail, I’m not sure why there would be drastically different results other than people just would rather have more MX297 because they liked the fragrance.

that’s what Im saying..I can’t see why it would have different results.

@Olfact yeah I agree with that. I like to create my own simple mixes with products that will stay around…if A314 or IS ever stopped getting made …or maybe some of the p’s…man THEN, i’d really be bummed out.

John, If you look I was one of the people who wanted a different fragrance. But plain and simple, it’s not the same effects of MX297. I know what other reports are out there, but I was getting hits and compliments all night long with MX297. With MX390, not even a “you smell good” I just got nothing all night long.

I hate to say it but Akuto made MX297.

I wouldn’t generalize, there are plenty of reports to support the new fragrance package and there are some that do not. Not everybody gets the same results, its why we like to have such a large spread.

I know absolutely nothing about diffusion but I do know that different molecules will have different weights. Could it be that the akuto cover scent is better at carrying certain key molecules than FF21? Thus effecting the ratio of each molecule in your cloud?

Its possible, but I know whats in MX297/MX390 - there’s nothing to suggest such drastic differences. It could be personal preference of the scent or the climate/weather, we are in a different season now.

I actually got one of the last bottles of MX390, forgetting that it was in FF21. It’s easily my least favorite scent package.

Personal preferences aside, John, wouldn’t it make more sense to release new MXs like Project UF in Akuto or another scent that has been proven to work well? You’re saying the scent package shouldn’t make much difference but I thought that was the purpose of releasing it in a different scent. It seems counter-productive to introduce even more variables when testing brand new mixes by using scent packages that haven’t really proven themselves because, correct me if I’m wrong but, FF21 (only) scented products have yet to get very good reviews in terms of results, hits, etc. Ammo has but it’s a tried and true product which has gotten good reviews in every scent.

Just some constructive criticism.

Project UF is a special case, its not one of our own normal research projects.

And the scent package does make a difference in the spread - not in the actual effects. I’m not saying it doesn’t matter, I’m saying that there seems to be an inconsistency in the reports.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. Maybe once I get my MX390 I can bare FF21 long enough to give some reports. With MX390-395 to test I guess I’m going to smell like the Snuggle bear and Mr. Clean after an extra long wash cycle for the next couple months

John please accept the fact that alot of the users here arn’t experiencing the same effects as they were with MX297 instead of trying to nulify forum users experiences by telling us that its reverse placebo, scent preference. Plus the whole season thing really doesn’t cut the mustard since AD products are shipped worldwide.

Are the masses who don’t agree with 390 being silenced
ulified?
I love AD but please don’t do this to us

RADMAN brought up a very important point that i had never considered before about the molecular weight of the mones and the scent and after taking this into consideration i believe this to be the case

Let’s take a look at Ammunition for MEN

FF21 and FF22 AMMO are similar but ARE NOT THE SAME and all that has changed is the scent, I notice more of a BANG in your face effect with FF22 and got plenty of IOI’s heck i even felt like a roid monkey on WE\AMMO. With FF21 the results are similar but are far more suttle and i am yet to recieve a compliment from the FF21 AMMO.

Now alot of people out there can argue with me that the scent doesn’t change shit but when 3 of my friends who i got into mones notice the difference between FF21 and FF22 versions of AMMO it just shows there is defintly more to a mixture then just the pheromone formula.

Sounds like a sweet Halloween costume, looking forward to your reports.

I’m giving you the facts based on what we know about the fragrances. The reports are inconsistent at best.

Thats a weird accusation, as I haven’t said anything of the sort.

If you read my response to that, I know whats in MX297/390 - it should carry the entire molecule package consistently. The effects should only be varied in their ability to carry over distance as opposed to changing whole effects.

Some people like it, some people don’t - its too inconsistent to blame it on fragrance alone, as each person tests differently under different climates. The fragrance in MX390 was meant to be fresher for the season, but its lasted into fall now.

For reference, I do prefer the Akuto scent.

It’s not an acusation it’s the way i percieved things from reading responses, It sempt as if peoples comments were being nullified for going against the grain my apologies john for taking it the wrong way.

I’m not the fastest with a keyboard so it takes about 30 minutes to write a response, i must of started my message before you responded.
