I posted this in the main forum in one of the reports I did on mx315. This about sums up my RPTP thoughts.
DJ…I would love to tell you about some awesome nights I had while wearing something from the RPTP. The fact of the matter is…I cant. I have now given up on it. I tested, re-tested, and retested, and they have all fallen short in my eyes. I want to like them. I want them to work. Its surprising because I normally wear a high -none signature. Maybe if I had an idea of what was in them, I could better taylor them to me.
The fact of the matter is, I looked forward to the release of this pack. I was excited to be a part of the testing for a forth-coming consumer product. A pack was released with a mistake scent. Only a few people reported on it. Then the pack was released again, and only a few people reported on it. Then there was no talk about it. At all. From what I remember, only Steves report on 316 and MB got attention.
The few actual testers here on the forum got 2 different packs. A “Goof Pack” and the “real” pack. The testers could never really compare results, offer tips, " hey look for this" or be able to really talk about the MX’s because there were 2 different packs with 2 different numbering systems. Miko, Danec, Jay, Marty, Me, You, and others could never compare results.
It just would have been nice to know if the numbering was the same. Come to think of it…it would have been nice to hear anything about the project.
What’s the highest you went up spray wise with the RPTP jesse? For MX307 (for me that is,) it personally seemed to convey more noticeable results at about 4 to 5 sprays. It also seemed to portray an Androsterone characteristic with noticing respect from fellow peers more than MX305 for example (didn’t seem too -none typical.) So that was weird, because I wasn’t neither ignored or felt talked to (or treated) in a -none way. But it still felt “Alpha,” but in a more respectful way ala Androsterone. So I was just wondering what tweaks you have gone by spray wise.
Miko, I tried them all anywhere between 1-5 sprays. I truly tried everything. I tested it alone, I tested in different places, different states, different colognes. I added extra buffering, I added extra -none, I went through 2 whole packs. The only thing i didnt do…was get results.
I would love to have talked about the mixes with you, but we never knew if the #'s in your pack are the same as mine.
Most of the people who got the packs are now gone or didnt report on them. Its a shame.
In your opinion, was there a MX in that pack that you would purchase again if it were availabe on the consumer line? I dont think we have ever talked about it.
This was my reply to K-train’s P75 thread in the main forum. Just some thoughts on it.
My work with P75 has been quite extensive. Its a P that has some feedback here on the forum, but hasnt really been figured out. This, and what it is rumored to be is why I started testing it to begin with.
My impressions are that it is “social masculinity”. Its masculine without an edge. At All. Because it failed(sexually) as a -none replacement, I have worked to use it as a base for a social mix. It actually adds a spike to MX303 and MX304. Both are P83 based. It steps up attraction/cuddly/comfort hits with these MX’s along with 15-30mcg’s of A1.
It seems to play well with low amounts of Xrone, and moderate amounts of P74, B & A-nol. More with B than A. I have not had alot of success pairing it with -none. Which surprises me. It does not seem to bother woman during menstration. -None bothers my X during her “shark week”, but P75 even at 10mcg did not aggrivate her or make her fidjity. I rarely wear more than 7.5 mcg. I mostly wear it at 2.5 or 5mcg.
I would definitely purchase MX305! Thing is, for me it felt VERY aggressive! The smell also seemed more “musky” which leads me to believe that it probably contained more -none. Honestly though, who knows… I still have like two or three of the new RPTP’s left and I promise that I will test these out as soon as I can, you know how it is though, some other tempting pheromone mix always comes up! Blah, but I REALLY wonder if the MX numbers were changed? That’s the thing that really keeps me wondering.
I know that they change MX numbers when they try an MX out with a different scent so that I know, but were the formulas mixed? Not sure, but IF MX305 is MX311 I’m sure that I’ll be able to tell (I hope.)
What did you think of MX311 jesse? Be it good or bad that is, like was the smell more pronounced than the other MX’s?
I must add that I didn’t finish testing out MX308 all the way and MX309 to MX310. So I was left with those, thing is I might honestly just start with the new test pack and possibly leave the remaining goof pack testers for memorabilia to avoid confusion.
I really didnt notice a big difference in the strength of the scent. The only noticable difference in scent was in 313 for me. I will say 311 and 312 seemed to be the most aggressive of all of them. 311 being the most. But still, they lacked hits. I have more to add. I will be back after i finish cooking dinner.
That’s exactly what I thought about MX305. Very aggressive, but hits were off kilter. Very raw in other words, but it did fit the name (Raw Power.) Just very hard to tame… I remember even adding some Spaceland and it still gave me a tiny bit of aggressiveness with some guys so pretty interesting. It’s under my review “MX305 meets the Spaceman” or something along those lines.
Hm, maybe not to those extremes but for example MX305 is my favorite because it’s aggressive even though it is hard to tame (just like TUTH is hard to tame just right for me,) MX306 is more tolerable and friendly while still being a bit raw but something is still missing to me at least, more punch you could say? Now MX307 is even more friendlier than MX306, but as mentioned at 4 to 5 sprays I felt like I was getting more Androsterone type of respect hits than anything that is known as “none -none friendly” hits. Hard to explain, like with MX307 I didn’t get any anger from men, but just friendly respect hits and buddy hits. Good old fashioned friendly stuff, but with a touch of respect. The others have yet to be tested, so to be continued!
I just smelled the new Raw Power test pack (MX311) and it smelled just like this, but with a hint of Game instead. Oh, and it had like a yellow tint to it unlike the new Raw Power test pack.
Good -none hits from a bartender. Hairflips, and lookbacks for a good 2 hours. I have been around this bartender before wearing a different mix and did not get any hits. She has ignored the past few times I sat at her bar, but last night she kept checking on me out of the corner of her eye. I am pretty sure she had a boyfriend so I did not pursue.
On a side note, I went out 3 straight nights, and on 3 straight nights someone guessed the name of my cover cologne. I hate that. That never happened when I wore Game scent. They always asked me about it. Oh how I miss it so.
Good A314 hit. A higher up came to talk to me and my boss, he had never met us before. As we made arrangements for a special project, he started out focusing on my boss, but after a few minutes he pretty much ignored my boss and focused on me.
