Newbie here. Just got my delivery of the starter pack this evening and decided to try a single spray of the instant shine 2x on my chest to try to gauge the self effects before using at work / in public. I am particularly interested in the self effects of these products as I have previously experimented with nootropics and am interested generally in self improvement.
However I am getting some very strange effects which set in about an hour after application. I did take some strong sniffs of my chest after application. It’s hard to describe exactly but it kind of feels like my thought and speech processes have slowed down significantly. I was on the phone to someone just now and I was generally speaking much slower and having some trouble forming the next bits of my sentences. I’m writing this and feel a bit dazed / have some strange brain fog going on. It’s unusual, very different from brain fog I have experienced in the past from nootropics and supplements gone wrong or otherwise.
Generally I think I can be quite sensitive to chemicals, I’m quite quick to get a headache and feel ill if I do any soldering or use any serious cleaning products so I wonder if maybe even one spray of the 2x is excessive for me.
Anyone else ever experience such things? I hope I will be okay in the morning!
Hi there, i’m a noob myself but i don’t think there’s any reason to panic.
It does make sense that since the chems were sprayed on your own body, you yourself will also be affected by them. I tried my oil version of the A314 today and felt a tiny bit anxious at the start, but after i got over that i felt more “serious” and concentrated.
But yeah the only advice is that you just chill and keep yourself busy w any peaceful activity and see what happens over time
The first time I used IS, it was a high. I felt foggy. So did my friend who said he felt high when I spray him with IG and IS as his first pheromone experience.
Have a search for “IS crash” - there are a few potential negatives that can hit you but the tired/drained/sluggish mind are probably the most common.
Good news is that most people adapt to IS very quickly and the self effects tend to be strongest/most noticeable for the first few exposures.
Only a very small number of people have reported longer term problems from IS, so stick with it - but maybe use further flung app points like wrists/forearms for a few days till you get used to it.
It is probably best that you wash, but if you want to try to condition yourself fastest, keep the IS on as long as you can stand it - but unless you have someone there to appreciate the pheros, washing your app points before you go to bed is a good idea.
eta - You can also get tired/drained self effects from Androstenols, so IO and IH need initially to be watched. These happen mainly with high dose/long exposure and/or after topups but they are less common and again most people adapt to them fairly quickly. Taking a break and some good food/something non alcoholic to drink to help keep your energy/electrolytes-up will also help to a very great deal.
And you can get a little bit of a buzz from the SD40 alcohol (solvent) straight after applying but that usually disappears within minutes.
I’ve experienced quite strong self-effects from Instant Shine (or maybe just the TAA in it), none of them negative. They consisted of three main symptoms: giddiness, attraction to sunlight during the day, and attraction to color red (especially lights) at night. It was really weird and intense, but kind of euphoric in a way. Then again, attraction to colors and/or lights happens quite often for me when I use pheromones. For instance, P122 (a dud by itself, but a heavy-hitter in conjunction with copulins and androstenone) made me attracted to color green. And right after sex, I was drawn to glowing streetlights (especially the yellow-orange sodium vapor kind) like a moth to a flame.
Any crash I’ve felt was quite subtle usually, and nothing I couldn’t counteract with coffee.
Thanks folks. Really Interesting stuff. I washed it off and the effects subsided within an hour. I probably posted this a bit hastily but I was kind of interested to see if it was a common thing.
Kind of interesting to consider it a “high” but I suppose it actually wasn’t too dissimilar to some of the effects from cannabis, I just had no idea it would be possible to experience anything like this using a pheromone spray!
I will try it a few more times in the evenings until I get used to it.
