I’ve heard that the owner of Agarscents is very generous about giving out samples. I’m sure if you send him an email, he’ll send you some samples. He usually sends me four samples when I order from him. Agarscents has very high quality stuff. The thing about the samples is that they’re impossible to get out of the vial, i had to use a straightened twisty tie to scrape it out; the short applicator wand is pretty pointless.
Do you think he would send samples before I placed a real order?
Although, I think I might have some MX292 around here somewhere, if anyone wants to do a little trading for some (non-fecal) samples of decants that are for sure good, and would not be horrid on a woman

Yes, the one I have is Agar Musk Black with Cambodian Oudh. Its $95 and comes with a cool looking gold vial and hard-shell case.
I’d send samples, but I can’t afford to at the moment. I just discovered that I’m almost halfway through the bottle! I’m going to stock up on this stuff. Also because I’m going to make this the base of the cologne that I’m going to create.
I totally understand. I’m just scared to shell out that much money for something unless I’m absolutely sure I"ll love it.

Yeah, it really does sound like something i’d like, but i have spent far too much money on fragrances lately for another blind buy. I believe i’ve made 5 of them recently, which is pretty ballsy as far as i’m concerned. Liked 2 of them so far, one we meh. Two more in the mail.
I’ll see if i can’t find a sample of it somewhere and try it from that, but just can’t shell out $95 on a blind buy right now. But thanks for telling us about this one! 
i hear ya. I’ve dished out a lot of money on fragrances this past month. Thats why I’m going to start making my own. its expensive during the trial and error stages, but as soon as i find the right formula, it’ll be cheap and I’ll have enough to last forever. I hate the feeling of running out of a good frag.
Let me know where you’re going to get your EO from Dr. I currently use perfumersapprentice.com, and they’re pretty great (Linda is VERY informative.) They sell both synthetic and EO scents. Only thing they don’t sell is PA, but she will direct you to the right place.
By PA, do you mean perfumer’s alcohol? I just want to make sure lol.

That’s where I buy mine. It’s relatively cheap and works well for me.
If you want to use a carrying oil instead of perfumer’s alcohol, I was told that fractionated coconut oil works really well. It is also sold on that site. I don’t use this site to buy essential oils though.
MFG … Take a PASS on Oud unless you’re already in for some samples.
The stuff NEEDS significant dilution to really pay off.
Straight … it’s extremely camphorous & - obviously - you can buy that @ your local pharmacy for much less.
Simon’s red deer musk with Ammo is an entirely different story IMO. They work VERY well together.
I am still waiting for my Musk to arrive it is possible it is on my desk, I have been out of my office most of the week.
I am really looking forward to trying it, though I can see from many of the reviews it is very animalic and might need to be layered.

No, thing is that I don’t know what it would go well with. I don’t really have a wide selection of cologne so that sucks. However, I’d be interested in wearing single note EOs as Dr. Fedora mentioned. That’d be interesting, but still not sure what will go well with it. You’re the pro denec, what do you think? Well, I should probably wait until you smell it he, he.
I mean I’m sure the new Musk Ghazelle has a purpose, I mean why would the creator of it make it smell kind iffy on purpose? Not sure he would, so I’m hoping there’s a reason for this beast!
Yeah I will need to experiment once I get it and see what it goes good with if it really smells that fecal as some say
I once tried an oud that was very fecal and I really did not like it at all, hoping it not as fecal as this, that one was very fecal

I have bought 3 ml of the new Ajmal AA Indian Pure Musk Ghazelle as well. I ordered last week, so hopefully it comes in about 1 more week or less.

As far as EOs go, I’ve read a lot of great things about Eden Botanicals. I’ll be buying most of my notes from there. There’s a few rarities that they don’t carry that I’ll buy elsewhere.
SCoupe, They seriously sell oudh at pharmacies? How good of quality is it? As far as my Agar Musk Black goes, it contains oudh, but its not overwhelming. its blended perfectly. It starts out very potent, but dries down very fast. i feel inclined to dump the bottle on myself, hah. A little does go a long way, but I still get urges.
The Indian Red Musk smells just like the new Musk Ghazelle, but more sweaty and less fecal. It really goes well with ammo? hmm… Ammo does smell a bit too clean, and MG smells too dirty. I’ll have to experiment with that one.
