Let’s see, of the blind ones: Body is a good fragrance, but very sweet. Needs to be in a rotation or you will pretty easily get sick of it.
Ajmal MG is a bit fecal for me, so i’m trying to find something that layers over it well. For now, it’s a meh.
The vanilla EO has been a pretty good buy, i tried out godhand’s idea for clubbing but honestly think it would be better to just get a good vanilla based fragrance. But i’ma give that idea a second shot.
And i haven’t recieved L’ombre Fauve or Idole de Lubin yet. So i’ll let ya know when i get them!
Bleh… I’m trying to come up with a list of this stuff that I actually would dare to try, but given you guys’ descriptions of things, its not easy, lol.
Its okay if you guys are okay with “slightly fecal”, lol
But that just really puts me off, can’t imagine why, it must be a guy thing
So, the only one so far that I dare truly consider is the “Black Musk - Cambodia” (or something like that). (Please correct me if I’m wrong, no fecal urine BO needed but thanks anyway)

3 ml for $32, and it will probably last you a long time. Make sure you ask the owner (Sharif) for samples that are meant for women or are unisex. I heard he usually gives about 4 samples with each purchase.
In all honesty, if you are turned off by the comments of the strong “fecal matter” smell with the Ajmal Musk Ghazelle, I would hold off on that and try to see if you can get a small amount from someone that has already bought it. Then you can see for yourself if it’s worth it or not. If you can wait a week or so SK, when I get my Ajmal Musk, I can put a small drop in an empty glass vial and see what you think. I have been talking to abubakr the seller of Ajmal Musk a lot lately and he has plenty to go around if you want to buy it in the future.
Thanks. Though I’m not crazy about scents that are too floral or girly-ish, I tend to prefer fragrances that have depth and mystery to them.

Well when people refer to smells that are animalic, and fragrances with musk or Oud, they typically like the “barnyard” scent to it that the natural musk brings out. I personally didn’t know what the new version of the Ajmal Musk Ghazelle was going to smell like, but I have seen many favorable reports by Denec and others saying they loved the original, so I purchased the new one thinking it would smell very close to the old version lol. Apparently those 2 versions smell way different from each other :o. Until recently I saw all of these reports of it smelling very harsh, strong, fecal matter, etc, but I am always interested in experimenting with different things because this is a hobby and passion of mine. I am sure there are many among us that share a passion and hobby in this subject, such as people from pherotalk and others from basenotes. That’s the main reason I bought mine. That being said, would you like me to send you a drop of the Ajmal Musk Ghazelle to you SK when I receive mine? I will send it free of charge.

I definitely will! But first I have to figure out exactly which one I would want to actually buy full-sized, and which ones I would like to try samples of.

Awesome, that would be great! I have another suggestion for you that I did as well. You can order something with a 2-3 or more trusty indivduals either with members on here or on something like basenotes or your real life friends nearby. Say for example you want a 3ml item that cost $100. Well you can either 2 way for $50 each or 3 way for $33 each. That’s what I did recently when getting stuff at agarscents bazaar. It was too pricey for me to buy by myself, so I split the cost with a friend of mine. He lives elsewhere, but we are going to divide up the liquid between us 2. That is just a suggestion of course.
And I would be definitely interested in splitting with others. It would probably have to be with you guys, though. Unfortunately I don’t have any friends around here that share my diverse interests.
I have not. I do know that they have very similar qualities. I ordered the attar, and he ordered the pure version I reckon (non attar). I believe attar just means blended with sandalwood, so his is 100% without any sandalwood in it, so his product will probably smell stronger, whereas mine will have a touch more sweetness in it and probably not have as strong of a smell to it. My version would be the same as his, but with sandalwood mixed into it. I’m sure both products are very good, as I have read up reviews on both . I prefer going with the more affordable version at first, just because I am a college student and I can’t constantly shell out hundreds of dollars .
Two other places I want to purchase from in the future is Oriscent and the ebay seller known as Ham_Firl. I will most likely buy the sample set for Oriscent (about $70), and buy a few things from Ham_Firl since he has many low cost products. Gotta save up for that though :o. Has anyone bought from either of those 2 places, and if so what were your experiences with their products, customer service, etc?
