New American President: Donald Trump

The following does not reflect the views of Androtics Research. Just my own. Well, mostly my own. Of course, I talk to and learn from friends and co-workers. Like everyone does.

Donald Trump won.

Honestly, I didn’t personally like his views towards women. I felt like some of the information coming out was going the way of Bill Cosby. And policy-wise, some of his earlier speeches I heard were overly slanted towards the needs of real estate developers, rather than everyone.

But looking at the positive side…

His victory speech showed a much kinder, gentler side. Even tempered. Elevated and gentleman like. He spoke about both people and country almost with love in his voice. That’s a side of Trump I simply never saw.

He was surprisingly gracious and supporting. Even to Hilary. Didn’t expect that. He finally felt more like a good minded parent than a kid goofing off and calling names. More like actual presidential material.

Hopefully he has a similar love for the people of all countries America affects. It’s a big, beautiful world out there. I’ve seen a little bit of it, and hope to far see more. It’d be nice to find a leader in him that understands that all ships rise with a rising tide.

Vladimir Putin just reached out to build bridges with America, instead of bombs against us. If nothing else, perhaps that’ll be one of the most major benefits of a Trump presidency.

It’ll be a good thing, indeed, if we walk down the street for the next 4 years without the fear of being engulfed by a mushroom cloud! Hearing Putin reach out was like the ultimate anti-anxiety pill. I hope they both make good on peace and growing together, instead of apart.

There’s smart, decent people everywhere. As the success of Silicon Valley and other projects where people come together from all over the world show, it really is best to work together whenever we can.

Trump surprised me when he addressed rebuilding America’s failing infrastructure in his victory speech. I don’t remember anything that practical being talked about in the debates. This is something America sorely needs. If he actually does it, it’ll benefit us all.

The other major benefit that my friends and I have been joking about is maybe that we now get to live in a movie straight out of the 1980s. It’s almost like Bill Murray or Michael J Fox winning the presidency. Or maybe Christian Slater, Kiefer Sutherland. Perhaps even ET!

Hey, those movies were actually very cool. It truly is a surreal feeling having a famous, over the top American icon become president. It comes with this sort of unreal feeling that I didn’t anticipate.

And although I’ve never been a big Trump fan, per se, I will say it’s nice to finally have someone in a political role who’s not a career politician. Before all of the email leaks during this election, I never really realized just what “career politician” actually meant.

I know his presidency concerns a lot of people, but we’ve got what we got for awhile. Everyone alive today has lived through and survived many unusual political circumstances. I hope we can learn to live and grow under whatever his plan will be, as well.

Maybe, just maybe, given Trump’s success and his later stage in life, he’ll try to leave a positive legacy by legitimately trying to uplift everyone, as he claims. If he just sticks with that idea, maybe we’ll all be okay. At least for awhile.

We can hope, anyway. We can hope.

Here’s hoping that Trump 2016-2020 will do his best to be a good president for all.

Here’s the best copy of Trump’s victory speech I could find on YouTube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL_wh-d1pP4

It’s from RT, which I know some people don’t like. But it’s a very complete copy with good camera angles and audio.

That’s some mighty moving music at the beginning. Someone like John Williams (Superman, Indiana Jones) must have written it. I sure hope Trump lives up to his superhero soundtrack.

So…

About that wall…

(Just trying to lighten the mood)

It’s interesting that his behavior was different. I don’t follow politics too much but I recently heard he said he didn’t want to reveal anything too soon because people might steal his ideas, or something to that effect. Perhaps that’s exactly what he was doing, a sort of ‘playing dumb’ for lack of a better word.

I hope you’re right, but methinks he’s probably playing a game. He’s not even into office yet. He’ll probably show his true face in due time. It’s a sad day.

Does anyone else think he’s using mones? It’s uncanny how much people respect him but disagree with him. It’s like they have no choice, like…a biological urge.

maybe. but i’m thinking it’s the one we call p-o-l-i-t-i-c-s.
