New group..... workout enthusiasts.....

Howdy :stuck_out_tongue:

With so much knowledge on healthy life-styles and workout routines on this site - i figured i’d create a group for public questions people may have. Ofcoarse any questions people may have that they want to keep confidential… my PM box is still open

Please take the time to sign up and stop by… The more knowledge we can acquire… the better off we all are

Enjoy,

That would be great man. Learning is critical when working out. Lol as of today i just hit another plateau that has been on for two weeks. Seems like I got to switch up my workout routine again. keep the muscles guessing again. If you could set up a group i would be willing to join it.

Great thread

Yeah plateau are probably the most annoying thing after injury :frowning:

The only ways i know to overcome plateau is to do sets with variation of weight, and to rest a day or two.

Any other good ways u guys know?

The way i have been going through them is take in more calories. Good dense calories. That is one way thru nutrition. The rest and change in variation of sets is helpful. Like i switch it between light and heavy. Dumbells, barbells and cables. Hi reps and low reps. Its just to keep your body guessing to shock it a bit. Spotters also help and when you do a weight for one or two days with a spotter that you could not do before you are more likely to do it by yourself the next time. It’s normal for me to hit plateaus now because the higher in weight you go the more often they come. I remember when i first started i was breaking thru a new record everytime. But that does not last forever.

I’m hitting plateau’s left and right now! Once I hit about 221lbs… i can’t seem to gain anymore weight… my bench is stuck right now… curls… tri’s…

I’ve gotta add in a few more calories and start doing negative sets… i’ve also started super setting.

There’s a bunch of way to break through… recently - No Explode and Superpump250 have been great for me. Give me an energy boost and makes my muscle feel like it’s going to rip the skin… The best part is when I stop using it… I still maintain my same weights.

Wow 221 pounds thats some great weight. Im hoping to get there i currently weigh in at 210 but am 6’3 still some work to do. Superpump is pretty good i use it also. You just have to cycle it a bit because the body gets used to the effects. Im currently of that and am using lee labradas right now. It sure helps.

Man - back in highschool i weighed in at 175lbs LOL… i’m 6’1"! I was so damn skinny OMG… right now i fluctuate from 215-221 depending on diet… water weight… etc. My pecs were ALWAYS my downfall. specifically my upper pecs. I was at one time benching 405lbs and didn’t feel like i had anything to show for it. Since I’ve changed my routine to include dumbells… incline fly’s… and a few other things - they’ve definately grown in size. Got some nice stretch marks goin on now LOL

time to go lift haha!
