Interesting thread. Vinegar is great for removing hair product build up and making hair shiny but too acidic for repeated use. Google vinegar hair rinse and you’ll find a few sites and recipes to dilute and add eos.
This post has made me wonder if Auromere ayurvedic soaps may be effective for the guys to prevent build up. There are several formulas but the sandalwood turmeric bar would be a good choice for removing pheromones. Sandalwood is a natural antibacterial. The soap is inexpensive and smells great, especially on my hubs. I whim purchased it at drugstore.com and now keep a stock of it.
I usually use a nivea exfoliating gel, then antibacterial soap sometimes..
of course it helps to shave the area of my neck where I’ve applied pheromones before…
Flaming,
do you feel your pheromone signature is any different with this regimen?
Your natural pheromones on the skin should build up one would think without the soap… What do you think?
I’m going to have to go with flaming on this one, been trying it for a little over a week with no problems. Well okay just one, I found out that when I tried it in my hair I needed to spend more time washing it out than I would normally spend with shampoo or there would be a lingering smell. Easy enough to remember, and it’s not like I’ve been trying it in my hair everyday.
I’ve read about that vinegar washing regime at a pua-site and have tried it for a few days now. I’m using some organic apple cider vinegar for hair and skin and no soap at all. Until now I don’t have any problem with the vinegar scent, it’s completely gone after some minutes. On the site they don’t suggest using vinegar every day, but only around twice per week and the rest of the time they only shower with pure water. Maybe I’ll try using vinegar every other day and showering with water only for the rest of the week. I’m not using much -none, so the build-up shouldn’t be drastic…
