Occult practitioners in the house.... Where my witches at?

Ohhhh? Do Tell…

My only experience with Mr. Crowley is a Thoth deck. I’ve read a little about his life, but none of his works. The same runs true for Gardner.

Interesting comment on repeatability with techniques. My understanding of Chaos was that once you created and used a particular spell, technique, sigil, etc. you never use it again. Guess I need to research a bit more.

Guess mentioning how much I enjoy giving back rubs won’t help either.

Technique is repeatable… The “spell,” you set and forget. You can use the same technique combined with other techniques, depending on your intent. You go with what works, but experimentation is always a good idea.

However, meditation, no matter what paradigm withing which you are operating, has a clear, repeatable methodology that leads to greater results. Different stages of meditation are called different things, depending on where you are coming from.

But meditation, no matter how you get there, is known to achieve results. You might change the manner of method of your meditation to suit your needs.

Sigil play is the technique or method, and yet a different sigil is to be crafted and executed each time you do the method. You can add to the method, modify, it, tweak it… The goal is to find ways that impress the metaphors best upon your own psyche suitable for the way in which you process information… But some things, such as the use of sigils, meditation, lucid dreaming, are all techniques that are known to have results for generally anyone, no guru required.

The intent of the “spell…” Well, you set it and forget it, and you can use the same or similar technique tomorrow to do something else.
