Unless Steveo is using very accurate decanting or weighing instrumentation, or making very large batches, the digits in the hundredths and thousandths places are probably meaningless because measurement errors can be expected to be larger than that. My guess is that the spreadsheet he’s using is formatted to report 3 places after the decimal.
When counting formally, all the digits on both sides of the decimal are considered. 
As you say, accuracy of measurement probably breaks down at the below-one-ml level, unless you are in a rigorous laboratory.
But, is it yet proven that minute differences in proportion will result in significantly different effects?

My meaning will be clearer if I am quoted in context, or at least in complete sentences. Excel and many other spreadsheets allow the formating of cells so that a certain number of places after the decimal are shown.
It is true that a rudimentary error analysis is often done with significant figures, and that is probably good enough for our purposes in mixing these chemicals. For a more sophisticated analysis the calculus is used, and partial derivitaves are used to combine the various sources of errors.
I believe that I have those missing ingredients, but I was sworn to secrecy! And I’m afraid that if I blabbed my connection would be cutoff. 
But, you can bet that I’ll be mixing up a batch and testing tonight. If I get similar results, I’ll definitely post, and with SteveO’s permission, and Jasmin’s blessing, maybe there’ll be an MX270+ mix available shortly

Hey Phoenix, tell you what, How about you test, I’ll test, then let’s post our results without disclosing our added 3 compounds. If we both get positive results, then maybe we can tell SteveO or Jasmin what we mixed and if the 3 of us are all on the same page, or close, then maybe they’ve got a hit for a new MX on their hands. 
Ok.. I’m back from concocting a mix.. I don’t have TAC yet so I replaced that by something of what I think would have the same nature.. meanwhile I added some cologne to the mix. There’s no -none though as the none I have is in a7 or pure instinct which are glycol and oil based.. so I’ll be applying a7 separately and before my mix..

Yes, the spreadsheet is set at 3 decimal place precision for the mcg/spray output. That is not to say that those last 3 decimal places do not have an impact on a mix’s effectiveness though (although differences of under a hundred nanograms are probably not as significant as a few hundred nanograms). I have had mixes with some component concentrations in the nanogram range, and they have had a significant and noticeable effect. I have also had mixes where I have added a few additional drops of A or B or C to tweak out the mix, and the results were noticeable (usually a rounding out of one effect or another).
For those of you who are embracing mixing and are starting to use tools such as pipettes, you will see that adding as little as 1 drop will change the concentration significantly depending on the starting component concentration. Due to the limitations imposed by the pipette and consistency, you can only deploy X mcg of a component at a time, so you end up with set increments of each component based on starting concentration and the total volume of the mix. For testing purposes though, you can probably compose rough estimates to produce mixes that approximate the effects just to get a feel of what works and what changes you need to make corrections.
I’m glad to see more people getting involved and proactively trying to figure out mixes by composing and testing them. This is what pioneers do - step out into a brave new world to face the uncertain and overcome any mysteries and challenges

Yes renny, I am actually compiling quite a large part of my journal to TAC of recent. You are right though it is time-consuming to transpose my writing in a journal to writing a thread about it. Even though I am busy I will still put it in a post, maybe even tonight.
Lori is 21 and will be 22 in a few weeks. I won’t say anything else about her or my relationship with her as she is well aware of where I work and now is a regular reader of the forum and this thread. It took her a few days to actually understand why I even wrote it.
At first she was a bit agitated that I would put it on a public forum, but after we talked about how it wasn’t demeaning and was actually a form of flattery by me, she came to understand the SteveO think. She never for a second, however was bothered by the fact I was wearing pheromones. She said she is used to shocking guys with her blunt questions and most other guys fold and that says a lot about them in her book. When I was able to talk and throw it right back at her without embarrassment, she said at that moment she knew I wasn’t a regular guy.
I think I might have a thing for Lori’s (i.e. LaurieNY and this Lori). She really made me do a double take at her when I saw her. She is captivating beautiful and now she most likely will have a BIG head and I will have to freeze her out. Heck just by reading this she will know more and more of my secrets.
I emailed you the mix already and I think this and the sister mix with the P83 would make an interesting MX pack. I am no chemist, so I don’t believe slight variations would make a difference, but on that note I have not tried it with those variations.
Yes Mark you do have the mix and yeah please keep it secret. I only give mixes to people I feel would provide fair and accurate feedback not to say others wouldn’t.

I was also thinking that P83 could make an interesting addition, but I’m flying with your stock mix for tonight.
Also, I mentioned this in my journal, but you might try tempering MX203 with P83, and see if it displaces the non-caucasion repellent effect. I have to test further, but wearing only MX203 yesterday definitely repelled non-whites. The last time I wore it with P83, I got my strongest hits from black girls.

The funny thing is Lori reacts much more sexual to P83 than to -none.
There are actually two mixes here Mr. Phoenix. The social sister mix as I affectionately call it now, is P83 heavy without any -none in it. I have given like four to go bottles to some members of my PUA lair out here.
None of these fellow PUA members have ever used pheromones and until recently knew nothing of this forum. I didn’t usually discuss my “secret” with anyone until recently. I am actually surprised by the amount of women I’ve picked up by discussing it though. That will be a thread for another day.
All four PUA’s were shocked at the results they got. One friend had such a blatant hit off the P83 mix he was floored. It was extremely similar to my BuckyStars hit.
