What’s the deal with mixing mones in terms of whether they are in oil or spray form?
If you have something potent in spray form, can you mix it with oil (? maybee 1:2) if you want to use it as oil in drop form? Oil form lasts longer right, as it diffuses slower?
I realise you likely can’t mix it the reversed (oil into spray)…
And if you buy a smaller bottle of something (eg. a ToGo) can you open it & “just dump” it into your regular perfume bottle (ideally not a huge 100ml one of course )
It is always not recommended to add 2 or more pheromones in a bottle. It is not easy to get the right ratio if we mix them yourself.
We can always layer them. If we layer them we can decide which phero to spray/drop more to get the desired result. We may want different ratio at different occasions.
ONe more thing, oil based and spray pheromones may not mix in the bottle. I haven’t try though, just my thought.
Some people mix many single molecules to make their own mixes just for fun, or for the sake of playing with people’s brains lol!
For ex.
tal (sexy/strong/confident) + taa (gives that happy feeling) + cops (makes guys horny) + p83 (makes guys touchy) would be an interesting mix to make, because you can’t buy this as a bottled product and it’s your own personal mix. But I think that you should have more experience with pheromones so you know more about single molecules, putatives…etc before making your own mixes. For ex. I wouldn’t add mx135 in a mix, because this has a mix of many pheromones already, so if I add this one anything could happen if one of it’s pheromone isn’t compatible with the ingredients in my bottle.
Imo, never mix an oil with alcohol spray, it’s so hard to apply, since they will separate, you wont be able to use a spray because the oil might clog it so you’ll have to do a tango dance to shake it really well and use a dropper. Sprays are more accurate than drops imo. Oils also slow the diffusion causing you to get less reactions/hits from people.
I wouldn’t mix an alcohol based perfume with pheromones either. Unless it’s in a really high concentration. For ex. if I bought p96@100mcg (it’s really concentrated), I would dilute it so it doesn’t kill my brain cells lol, but I wouldn’t mix instant sexiness (perfect to use by itself) with a perfume, it will dilute the pheromones within, thus giving me lesser reactions which is not what I want. So instead, I would apply instant sexiness first, let it dry down, and then I would cover it up with my perfume beside it, neroli is easy to cover too.
Ofcourse you can use an empty to-go bottle and experiment.
Aren’t all perfumes alcohol based??? Or are people talking about neat high concentrations of fragrances (e.g those used with potpourie?) and not standard “Chanel5 spray” type perfumes/EdT when they talk about mixing mones & perfume?
There are alcohol-based perfumes, perfumes in a base of jojoba or coconut oil, dipropylene glycol or other viscous diluent, and perfumed oils, creams, lotions, dry oil sprays, solid perfumes, as well as pure perfume oils or fragrance oils.
In general it’s easiest and you have most flexibility if you simply apply pheromones (whether alcohol based or other) and then cover with perfume in a spray, or an application of a perfume oil (though oils will slow diffusion, they still work).
Or you can spray or dropper a dose of pheros into a handful of scented lotion.
Or if you have a small vial of fragrance oil you can add oil-based pheros to it directly. I would not mix perfume and pheros in the perfume bottle until you’re quite comfortable with phero use, though - it’s too easy to ruin a bottle of perfume.
Blackpheonix alchemy labs has a bunch of oil based scents but their turn around is kinda sloooow. Vamp fangs also has some perfume oils.Fm is supposed to be good. I’ve ordered immortal from them before its nice.Theres also a how to up if you google how to make oil based perfume. Apparently you can make your own if you want. I hope this helps you get started.
I prefer oil based perfumes generally myself better for dry skin and good if you’re warm bodied.Although I must must get some escada ocean lounge. I’m in love with it right now.
oh and ebay lol if you know exactly what you’re looking for sometimes you can find a good deal there on perfumes in general.
Hmm, I highly recommend mixing 2 or more mones! I do it all the time. I started with chemset mones and copied the ratios of fav products like SOE and AE. Eventually I started tweaking them and evolved into to custom homebrews that work great for me.
Ratio are easy to get right: use a graduated pipette.
With all that said, I always experience first with dabbing or sprays in order to work out the basic ratios and doses. Once I’m in the ball park, I mix tiny batches, e.g., 4 drops androsterone, 1 drop A1, 2 drops androstenol, 2 drops clove EO, 2 drop cedar EO, 3 drop bergamot, etc., and test for fine tuning. Finally, I mix larger tweaked ratios amounts in glass bottles.
Oil carriers and alcohol carriers can be mixed. However you have to shake it well and apply immediately (just like olive oil and wine vinegar dressing).
I always thought that “perfume” technically referred to a very concentrated oil-based product, wherease “cologne” and “eau de toilette” referred to more dilute alcohol-based products.
If you go to the dept. store, you can buy Chanel #5 and other designer fragrances as perfume (most expensive), cologne, or eau de toilette (least expensive).
