Oil vs. Spray & dosage questions

Hi all,

I have been leaning toward the oil-based products because they last longer. I have A314, IS and P96 in oil, but IH in spray. All are stealth (I greatly prefer the stealthy versions).

First off, is one spray roughly equal to one drop?

Also, I have a to-go for IS now, can I just reuse the bottle for the oil once I’m out of the spray? Not really a question of physical can-it-be-done, but does the oil diffuse properly if it’s sprayed instead of rubbed-in a bit?

Thanks.

Spray for drop, yes, more or less that’s a good way to start with the dosing.

Some products eg A314/b spray are dosed to as close as possible to the oil for effectiveness, whilst the A314/a spray is dosed higher for impact/greatest diffusion but there are things about oil that a spray can never replicate like subtlety or longevity on the skin.

Generally oils require a higher dose of pheros compared to sprays but its difficult to say how much more as there is quite some variation between individual molecules and some do not work well in oil at all at any dose.

Personally I’m really liking the Honesty and #Shine oils - I could probably go-right over to Honesty oil in virtually all situations but the Shine oil is smoother/more laid back and not as bright as IS spray, - the oil is more akin in effect to TAA in spray form but a lot longer lasting.

Togos are useless for spraying oils - the sprayer can’t handle the viscosity. Dose with drops directly (eg on fingertip) to the skin and don’t spray over the oil point. A little bit of good quality hand lotion will help buffer the app point for breakdown and gets the most out of your oil app (not worth it for sprays IMO - any extra is a lot less). Use the minimum needed to cover the app point, give it a couple of mins to settle into the skin before you apply the oil.
