No you are misunderstanding…I am going to make sure they pay for the medical bills, that includes additional $3000…and no i didnt impersonate a cop…i didnt have a badge and never claimed to be a cop. So what I’m trying to say is, they will pay for medical bills, plus i get $3000 I hope lol…Nothing is set in stone yet.
Oh, sorry for misunderstanding! In that case, take her to the cleaners! You weren’t doing anything wrong and got a ton of your time taken up for this. Especially since she was going so fast when she hit you. Could have been alot worse.
Oh, and i thought i’d answer your question on when MX292 will be coming back. I’m afraid to say that in another thread, Steve told us to stock up now because it may NOT be coming back!
So with any luck and alot of posts, they may bring it back, but when they say that… don’t hold your breath for toooo long.
Haha…spread the word Mr. Feel Good…from the mountain tops to the valleys to the canyons…scream it out loud that every MX292 owners needs to share their damn report to everyone haha…ok im done
One thing I’ve learned in life: success and happiness are your responsibility. Something doesn’t workout, no biggie. Just move along. Why waste your time when you could be doing something else? You can get along fine without the MX292, RX7, Suzie69 or whatever. In fact I’ve found it really doesn’t matter much what mones I wear as long as I’m in the zone. I seem to always get what I need. I have a drawer with a couple grand in mones–many promising the world but not delivering–and yet only a few grace my body regularly.
If you really are suffering from whiplash, you can probably get a lot more than $3000. Of course you must weigh the time & hassle against an elusive court settlement. Funny, a friend of mine just won an accident lawsuit. She hit somebody and they claimed back injuries and permanently disabled and unable to work. The case lasted for years and was finally settled for virtually nothing when her Private Dick shot video of the “victim” jogging and working out (he came to court in a wheelchair!).
well its not major or serious…just uncomfortable and annoying pain…how much do you figure i can get?
No badge, No uniform Lucky it wasnt me cause I would knocked you on your ass LOL I dont scare easily Im a postal worker ![]()
You would have gotten all that even if you didnt play cop. Her insurance decides if they are going to pay not her. They will pay for rental repairs and for your med bills resulting in the accident But pain and suffering is generally reserved for more serious injurys. Not because you were upset and achy after the accident. If you waited 10 days before you got that full body xray and chiropractor they already know your not suffering to much. You have to see the doctor within 24 hours of the accident. You cant prove its from the accident unless you went to the doctor right away and he/she referred you to get the xray and back treatment. For all they know you could have fallen down between then and now.
Dont forget about Kama to. What you put out there comes back to you three fold
So put on your Ishine and be nice. If your really hurt seek damages but if your just a little achy give the lady a break.
Tisha
Well here’s my reasoning Tisha. If they ask me why I took so long to seek treatment, I will tell them that at first the pain wasn’t instant and didn’t hurt that bad, but over time it progressed. I would also state that I was seeking legal advice from friends, family, relatives, and was also busy with college, work, and other activities.
So there must not have been much pain and suffering if your were busy with college work and other activities. Pain and suffering mean you cant do those things your would normally do. ![]()
Tisha
OK well here’s advice from a qualified lawyer (UK not US but the fundamentals are the same), not some barrack room bullshit.
You managed to walk over to her car and intimidate her, now you’re claiming personal injury
. You are already looking for what you can scam out of her insurance yet have already admitted that there was very minor damage to your CRV, don’t you think her insurance have medical and accident investigation experts who can rip you to shreds ![]()
I would also state that I was seeking legal advice from friends, family, relatives, and was also busy with college, work, and other activities.
The injuries can’t be that bad if you can still go to college, work and get drunk in bars chatting to hot blondes ![]()
You were jamming out to music, how the fuck do you know what speed she was doing?
Take some professional advice here and now, for free, from a forum buddy
I tell you now, if I was her defence, I would rip you to pieces in court, sorry to be blunt Andrew but the evidence does not stack in your favour, you would do far better to be realistic, leave it in the hands of your insurers, they know what they are doing, you don’t. If you try to play her insurers at their own game, you stand a real chance of getting burned and walking away with sweet FA
Last point, what the hell does this have to do with the fact that you didn’t checkout from the store in time to get your MX292?
Dude, don’t you think the lady was already scared and shocked enough? But you still had to go play asshole and scare her even more? I mean, I doubt she rammed your car on purpose, right?
Sorry to say, but from what I read on this thread you come across as an idiot! And a greedy one… Grow up man!
Well said Tisha! I’m catholic but I’m still a strong believer in karma ![]()
i’m sure a solicitor would be a better person to consult than your gran.
this i was wondering as well.
Bob, you are coming across as a very ignorant idiot, if i may say so myself. I’d rather not be immature and stoop down to your degrading level, so I will leave it at that. Who are you to judge someone that you don’t even know, and I was exaggerating the situation about me scaring the shit out of her. I was very kind, and didnt blow up in her face or anything. I was just very forward, upfront, and matter of fact to the situation is all. Once and for all, I didnt impersonate a cop. I just acted similar to how he would act, with his body language. Thanks for the advice diamond…Do you suggest I still go to the hospital and get checked?
I’m asking that all name calling immediately ceases. It is a violation of forum rules to insult other members. Lets leave it at that.
Plus this entire thread has nothing to do with mones anymore so its going to the lounge
My apologies Steve. ![]()
Let me quote yourself if you don’t mind…
Now where in the quotes above do you state that you were “very kind”?? ![]()
You’re right Steve, sorry. Gonna stop it now… ![]()
I feel no need to comment to what you just said, or to explain myself. I have already explained myself. Enough said.
Andrew,
I hate to say but actually, you are the one coming across as immature.
you procrastinate about not being able to get 3 x MX292 and then moan because your cart has been emptied. bubblebob and I both tried to order two each a couple of weeks ago ( because we have to pay $30 delivery to europe on each and every shipment) and have made do with one.
Whilst bubblebob might have been somewhat forthright in his speech, it is actually very similar to what Tisha said in somewhat more diplomatic language. I am an ex cop, now lawyer and have dealt with hundreds of road accidents, If I had seen you behaving in that manner, I would certainly have had a word about your attitude.
Now, obviously, my advice is based in English Law, not US. If you haven’t done so yet, consult a lawyer registered to practice in your state.
I spend every day dealing with people who exaggerate situations and often blatantly lie to me, despite my sometimes being the last thing between them and a potential jail sentence. A friend of mine deals exclusively with personal injury claims, 80% of his clients exaggerate their injuries, those that listen normally win, those that try to beat the system invariably walk away with nothing. As such, we can both see clear through anyone trying to beat the system. I am fairly sure that any insurance firm is going to employ lawyers who can see through inflated claims.
If you had the accident 10 days ago and haven’t yet seen a doctor, do you really think a court or insurer is going to take you seriously, hell, you’ve even managed to work and go out drinking, they will almost certainly ask your employer if you took time off sick.
The short answer is talk to your insurers and take their advice, if you haven’t got legal expenses insurance, don’t even think about issuing a claim on your own behalf.
haha OWNED…well said diamond. ![]()
