P74 and Instant Shine report

OK, I tested out my free to-go of the P74 @ 10mcg/spray today. 3 sprays - 2 to the sides of my neck and 1 to the throat. I meant to isolation test this one today. And I will soon, for sure. But something had happened to piss me off slightly today, so I reached for the Instant Shine (regular strength) to make sure I had a good feeling. 2 sprays to the throat area. Oh, and I wiped my hand on my P74ed neck before applying the Instant Shine.

The combo is awesome, I have to say :slight_smile:

Firstly, my opinion is that this combo is in some ways fairly similar to the standalone Instant Gentleman. In actual fact, I’m thinking this combo is to Instant Gentleman what IG is to A314, so:

A314 -> IG -> P74/Ishine

in increasing order of… er, warmth, soft-edged-ness, fuzziness, or something. There is not really an intrinsically alpha vibe to it at all, as such. BUT, this combo seems very flexible: if you want to portray an alpha vibe it will help. If you want to portray a harmless and fun vibe it is good for that too.

OK, so at the coffee shop I see a girl who works at a site I sometimes work at doing IT maintenance. So I have spoken to her a bit, in fact I think I accidentally intimidated her a bit somehow once (before I got into this phero business) but that’s a different story. So I approached, not a cold approach since I already kind of know her, but a stylish and fairly confident approach all the same, I like to think :slight_smile: The confidence from the combo is again “playful” instead of “alpha”, but not quite like androstenol either. I do a classic approach, DHV and get out sequence, the good thing is it’s all genuine, a “true time constraint” instead of a false one like in Mystery Method: I have calls to make to people to arrange a party this weekend. This girl won’t be there - different social circles, but I have conveyed some cool stuff in 10 minutes I think, things to do, parties to arrange, etc.

At the pub I am pretty sure that the barmaid has given me a look that wasn’t actually strictly necessary, too. I mean she knew I was there, and she was serving another customer, and she looked over at me for one second while fixing the drink for the other customer… I dunno really, it was a bit odd but nothing definite :confused:. Later on, she is also standing in an odd hands-on-hips stance where I can see her - again that exaggerated body language thing I’ve been seeing from people recently. But it could have been for someone else’s benefit. And I chatted to several other people at the pub (couples and families) who were nice and friendly…

It has given me way more confidence than just Ishine alone, I think. And in that funny sort of way that you can pitch yourself just right, without either coming across as too alpha or too beta. In fact, it reminded me of the time I saw this guy, who was almost certainly gay, approach some women in the street and just start chatting away. There is a different type of rapport that can be struck, not quite the Instant Openness kind, that I observed this gay guy was very good at. There is something friendly, non-threatening and warm about the P74/Instant Shine combo that seems similar. I should combine this with a dash of Turn Up The Heat next time maybe, see if I can get the -none to creep in under the radar LOL :smiley:

thanks for adding the report. rep to you for the effort. i just ordered some putatives, randomly selecting them without reading any other reports and i believe p74 was on my list.

Thank you Josef. I can see how wearing P74 can suit both men and women now, I feel I wore a combo that is a bit like Instant Gentleman for both sexes, or “Instant Gentleperson”:slight_smile:

Flexibility: If I wanted to be alpha, and get people to move aside to let me past, the combo helped me out doing that. If I wanted to be, well not beta exactly, but sort of nice, gregarious and unthreatening, it kind of followed my intent.

And, in a PUA context, it was almost like I imagine a gay man would have no problem approaching women because there’s no pressure on him in the same way as a sexually-motivated straight man. Although I still felt sexual attraction to females, I could buffer it with a kind of “What the heck, let’s go talk to this chick for fun” thing. But with more of a focused feeling than say IO.

It would be interesting to hear of a woman’s experience wearing this combo actually.

Old post i found here ntk23 but very similar to my experiences. I like this combo a lot. I pretty much apply it to most of my mixes in some way.

I was just struck at how close your observation to this combo was as mine.

A combo I wear a lot is 30mcg p74 and 30mcg TAA. I keep meaning to write reports on it but I’ve had so little time recently with college but I will soon make a report. I get a very similar vibe to what the OP gets.
