P74 Day 1:
8:00AM Total of 20mcgs applied to shoulders and forearms.
Breakfast at familiar restaurant. Known waitress. Nothing noted.
9:00AM brought total application up to 30mcgs adding sides and back of neck
11:30AM Watering hole for lunch. Known barmaid and several regulars. Nothing noted.
12:30 Went to restroom and brought application up to 50mcgs.
Spent another hour there with nothing notable.
6:00PM – application now up to 70mcgs.
LTR arrived and we went to dinner. Known restaurant and waitress.
Waitress did visit our table more than usual, but no extra non-work discussion.
8:00PM – Went to visit some friends for a couple of hours. Application totals 80mcgs now. Seemed the conversation was a little more upbeat and animated than usual. Discussed many more subjects than usual. A happy occasion.
Maybe this stuff is good as a sleep aid. I went to bed two hours early and slept in an hour and a half more than usual. ZZZZZzzzz
P74 Day 2:
9:00AM Initial application of 80mcgs – now including neck, shoulders, forearms and chest. Breakfast at the same restaurant with the same waitress. Nothing noted. Argh! Kicked it up to 90mcgs.
9:45 Went to department store looking for an item. I got within 3 feet and asked a young woman cashier as to the products’ location. She started to explain directions but changed her mind and demeanor saying, “I’ll take you there”. Hmmm. Just maybe?
Noon: Inside fast food restaurant for a burger. Nothing noted.
I ordered it unscented and after the alcohol it dry – it’s odorless.
Now I’m really starting to think that this stuff is a dud - a placebo. ![]()
1:30PM: Showed up at the local watering hole and a dozen or so of the Saturday regulars were there and only two women. The mood was rather quiet. What little conversation there was verged on the somberness of work, home and life problems.
I went to the restroom and increased the application to 140mcgs! What the heck! Maybe I can OD. What happened next was really interesting.
An automobile race was on the tube, not audible, and nobody watching it. So I figured that I was just going to chill out and expect a dull afternoon. The air-conditioner was on low and the doors are all closed and I’m sitting there with a beer in hand wearing 140mcgs of P74 upwind of just about everyone.
About 15 minutes after I arrived, somebody fed the jukebox. As the silly little ditty from the early '50’s played, the guy next to me started singing along quietly to himself. I joined in for a couple of lines and then the other guy next to me got into it. Well our confidence was strengthened and we started singing louder. ![]()
The barmaid, who was apparently a little upset about the whole situation shouted, “Hey! We don’t do Karaoke here!” at which time two more guys joined in! Then she finally broke out laughing.
For the next four hours that jukebox didn’t get a rest as everyone took a turn at playing it and sometimes singing along. I’ve never seen this bunch have so much fun! And I think the jukebox made the owner more money than his beer sales today.
But now my bottle is getting pretty low and I am torn between trying to confirm this type of behavior at a different watering hole – or take it to work when management wants to have a serious all hands meeting.
