If you’re trying to compare your experiences with P75 to something you bought elsewhere, please carefully consider your other source.
Unless that source’s name is Pherin, EROX, Organon Biosciences, Merck, LaCroy Pharmaceuticals, Sigma-Aldrich, Athena Institute, Dr. George Dodd, AromaSciences, James Kohl, or of course, us, I’d seriously think about the nature of your source. Please consider that you may have gotten something else labeled as androstanone.
Most other pheromone companies will tell and sell you just about anything to make a sale, just like most penis extension scams. Aside from a few key companies (that don’t seem to make as much headway as the scammers since we won’t lie our way to success), it’s an industry literally full of convicted felons, sociopaths and plain ol’ nutjobs.
When we started, we had lots of problems with this. Back before we settled on doing the bulk of our business with two of the most legitimate American labs (and settling in extra comfy with one), we were taken a lot, too.
Michael had done some work with a company that manufactured Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw’s formulas (which still kick ass, btw!) They were quite finicky about chemical quality, and he much about the chemical industry and the difference between a good copy of a chemical and a bad one.
Durk & Sandy’s products go over the top quality-wise. They use Vitamin C from Hoffman-LaRoche, amino acids from Anjinomoto, etc. Very expensive suppliers, but that’s why their seemingly innocuous vitamin formulas do things that no one’s else’s do even though the “Ingredients” label is similar.
Look at ingredients in this:
Blast, 600 grams powder
Looks “normal”, right? Try some a few times (following the directions, of course), then tell me it’s normal. It’s not normal. 180 degrees from Centrum! 
A cheap vitamin C from China or India is completely different than the very clean vitamin C from Hoffman-Laroche or Sandoz.
In Germany, you have to get many vitamins by prescription. This almost makes sense considering that the many of the most quality oriented vitamin suppliers are in Germany and Switzerland. Pharmaceutical grade vitamins have a very pronounced effect compared to what usually gets sold to us in America.
When the Androtics research project started, we didn’t know who all the best suppliers were for the types of chemicals we wanted. It wasn’t as straightforward as it was in nutrition, so we tried a lot. We had to kiss a lot of frogs along the way, and immerse ourselves in due diligence.
To verify that we got what we paid for (and that it was good quality) we’d buy “standards” from one of the well known academic labs, and then send our sample (“sample” is what they call the commercial synthesis) along with a standard (the really pure chemical) to an analytical testing laboratory like InterTek Caleb Brett.
Intertek would then compare the two using HPLC and other analytical methods, and tell us how “pure” our sample was.
Some of the providers put something other than what was sold to us (intentional mislabeling fraud) in bag or bottle. Purity was 0%.
Some shipped authentic, but extremely impure chemicals.
Many suppliers mixed things together, tainting one chemical with another, sort of like how drug dealers “cut coke” with baking soda and other cheap diluents. This should give an idea of what kind of “companies” (more like little crime families) rule the so-called “pheromone industry”.
Since testing cost so much money, and buying lots of bunk chemicals seemed to waste more time and money than anything, we look at the “total cost” of getting a good batch and decided… to hell with it, that’s too much and too much money to just work around fraud and sloth. Instead, we’ll simply pay a premium in the first place and get good stuff from the people who provide the standards!
That’s how to we got to where we are. By seeing how expensive “cheap” could be, and becoming chemical snobs. That allowed us to stop messing around with crap, and actually get down to real work. It also made dosing possible, another Androtics first. You can’t dose impure crap!
Well, I guess you could dose crap… but it’d be awfully messy
