So, I am not giving up on P86. I just am not getting the responses that others got in the past.
Theories are:
The switcheroo: This might not be the same old P86 that others reported on.
Bad batch: Could be that the source is different or the batch got corrupted.
Could be all of the above. In any case it has me mentally drained. i can’t figure it out.
I’m sending P86 back to the closet.
On the brighter side I have a new experiment I want to run. I can’t remember reading about any tests with Androstenone at the nano gram level. To me that’s strange. It’s almost like the whole community overlooked that dosage.
It may be nothing but I have some Androstenone experimone so why not test it.
On another note but a real non pheromone topic: I played Star Wars Battlefront Beta this weekend and there are already cheaters. There is a aimbot and other cheats available already.
Damn cheaters! They ruined the game. I was looking forward to buying the game on 11/17 but not now.
So I mixed 5 mcg’s of ExperiMone Androstenone into 5ml of PA (graciously provided by Androtics). I thought that I had 2.5 mcg’s per spray but it turns out the sprayer is 5 mcg’s per spray. I wanted to start at .0625 mcg’s per spray but I can always mix another batch. no big deal.
I just need to find 2 5ml bottles.
By my bad math that would give me .125 mcg’s of Androstenone per spray.
Unfortunately, I am out of 5ml bottles. I had to use an old one that I washed out and disinfected. Apparently it’s leaky so I put a piece of tape around the seam.
I tried 2 sprays this morning and I was a little surprised. 2 sprays at this level seems to have a nice effect. The test was not long or repeated. I won’t post results until (and if) I observe repeated behaviors.
It really gets me thinking though. Here in the pheromone community we think that more is better. I have found out though with my P86 test that “less is different”. More may not actually be better.
What if 5 mcg’s of Androstenone is a mega dose? I’m really intrigued with this experiment of mine.
I almost don’t believe that there are no reports of users micro dosing Androstenone. I searched some of the Lovescent archives where some of the earliest user tests (2004+) with pheromones took place and I didn’t find any micro dose tests of Androstenone.
I have to say, 5 mcg of TUTH is really the max for me. In general, when I use more than that I tend to get frustrated, picky and angry. The same goes with P75 and P109, which I consider good in low dosages, but getting really annoying when I up the dosage (the more I use, the worse it goes).
Since my girlfriend can get very angry with TUTH, I really wish I could try out the unscented version to see if its really TUTH and not other factors (like the smell). At this moment its really hard to see her, so I have it on the shelves just in case, but I know when I just use 2 sprays of TUTH, I already hitting my limits on controlling myself and not becoming some sort of green monster. I wonder if you got any good ideas to keep the sexual mixture but with lower dosage of agressiveness and more into the range of “i want a baby from you”, with something like oxytoxin for example? Something that is less aimed at the male’s desire of reproduction, but more into the woman’s desire to be closer to the person they love… Using -None as a steering mone rather than the main ingredient. Just spitting out my ideas here though.
The first thing that you have to do when testing is to find your sweet spot. Try one spray or drop of the product that you are testing. See what reactions you get. The next day try two sprays/drops of the product that you are testing. Keep this up until you find your optimal dosage of the product that you are testing.
Once you have your optimal dosage then wear that for at least a week so that you can begin to understand what the product that you are testing is doing.
A product like A314 is created to be a standalone mix. We as users mix products because we are not satisfied with the results of the standalone.
When you mix 2 products you are no longer testing product A or product B. You are testing product AB because the products are mixed together.
If you say you are testing Alpha Androstenol but you add Beta Androstenol to it, the Beta Androstenol will not show it’s true solo properties. Neither will the Alpha Androstenol. You will be testing a mixture of the two. The mixture of these two pheromone molecule produces a response that is different from wearing either one solo.
Each product is made with it’s own balanced (hopefully) levels of chemicals. A product that claims to cause bonding and deeper conversation may have a 80%-20% Beta to Alpha nol ratio. Adding in a another product may change the ratio of Beta to Alpha nol thereby changing the reaction from people.
Vendors do not make products to be mixed. We as users mix products out of frustration. We are hoping for better results. We are looking for that Love Potion #9.
Mixing product A with product B and claiming to be reporting on product A is just plain stupid (read: unscientific & inaccurate).
You know A little while back I was trying to mix a lot of different things to see what type of results I would get. You are absolutely right about changing the properties. So I have learned through a lot of mistakes it is better to wear just a few things. So when I apply things and create mixes I only have 2 or 3 products at a time. Anymore than this I have found it is really hard to pinpoint what is doing what and becomes a mess.
