Peptide Preloading > L-Phenylalnine a painkiller? Huh?

Well, i read quite abit about from MHarris’ posts about peptide precusoring/preloading and thought i’d give it a try (post is at Help/Advice A314/IS - #8 by MHarris)

Hence, went out of the house, and off to a supplement store, showed her the list of ingredients in FastBLAST (as in that thread above), and the first thing she asked me - in a concerned manner - “Why do you need this for?”.

To be honest, I was quite appalled at that question - but the next statement hit me harder - “It’s been discontinued locally for years. Nobody carries it anymore!” - again, WTF!??!?!

I asked her what this was used for, and she said it was a painkiller, that when used in this form, was an amino acid, and of a very strong dosage…

Anyone? Anything to advice?

It converts into Tyrosine and can be found in stim drinks and diet coke.

I’ve been feeling burnt out comming off Instant Shine really fast (Superman to Clark Kent)- and I noticed diet caffeine free coke seems to help. Are you saying it’s not a coincidence?

Don’t Drink the Diet Coke I suggest you shoot that a read.

Coke etc add other ingredients such as mood enhancers and the works. I noticed it in an hospital as that’s about all they sell (the irony).

I have noticed that some of the stuff I take has it in and I don’t think a lot of it can do good.

Steer right away from Aspartame - honestly. I have a horrible shooting pain in my arm which hurts almost 24/7 but the doctors etc can’t do anything about it. I’m 100% sure it’s Aspartame.

One in 15,000 people may not properly metabolize phenylalanine, an essential amino acid found in aspartame. The substance is a precursor to tyrosine, a building block of norepinephrine and dopamine, but, in the words of the FDA: “High levels of this amino acid in body fluids can cause brain damage.”

Check the back of chewing gum they put it in almost every one now. I have problems if I consume anything with it in in besides natural sources. My nervous system completely freaks.I’m sticking w good old fashioned sugar at this point and xylitol.

Aspartame is indeed bad news.

Honestly, you’re better off drinking regular or organic sodas and moderating your consumption than drinking diet.

Try searching the amino acid you’re wanting here for natural food sources.
