The bodybuilder stack is pretty extreme.
Even caffeine alone can have you running on empty in terms of dopamine and norepinephrine. Combine that with yohimbe, aspirin/willow, ephedrine/ma huang, etc., and you really don’t have neurotransmitters to spare.
Put another way – stimulants put the foot on the pedal, but they don’t refill the gas tank.
The stack is also very hard on the adrenals, so you get more into race metaphors. If you take your car out to the track often, you have to be willing to spend big bucks on frequent motor rebuilds, besides all the normal stuff like gas & brakes.
Gas, you need much more than normal. Stimulants are like race mods. I’ve known people who modify their cars, and get 6 miles to the gallon. Something roughly similar happens to your brain when using stimulants.
You may want to try peptide preloading (“brain gas”
). You may have to adjust your stimulants downward, since they’ll become more effective.
In the morning, on an empty stomach, try 2 to 3 grams of l-phenylalnine (be careful of l-tyrosine), 2 grams vitamin C, 50mg b6, 2-3 mg copper.
If you take this in liquid form, wait a good half an hour before eating. Capsules – an hour.
You can find good peptide precursors premixed at life-enhancement.com.
FastBLAST, one of many formulas:

You can expect your mood and overall feeling of self to improve with peptide preloading, but I’m not sure if you’ll ever get the pleasant self-effects some of our products provide while using high amounts of stimulants.
Stimulants are rough stuff. You’ll cut fast, but you’re taking a biochemical beating for doing it.
How about Avant Lab’s Sesamin? Newer tech like that might offer an alternative method of optimizing your biochemistry for weight loss, but I fear that it may be noneffective fluff… like so many other weight loss fads that come on hard, and fade out just as strong.
I know, I know – “The stack” works, which is why so many return to it, but surely there must be alternatives out there somewhere.
