pheremone and supplement diary

Well, I can’t believe i’m finally here. I’s been a struggle, but I really wanted to wait untill I had the correct sense of directiobn to write my experiences (sense of direction is hard to quantify, lets just say i needed quiet time when I’m aware that social expectations are about to get high or higher than normal.

First, thanks to this awesome community and the team and regulars who run these baords that run this board, you’re all mad, crazy, wackie and i love it!.

three years ago i boke up with my wife, beginning afresh social anxiety and agoraphobia. i’ve tried every supplement under the sun including many illegal, some prescribed that are horrible and that are bannd for import or warned by the TGA.

I considered myself well versed in complimentery meds and the current modes of psychology. Mindfullness meditation is a powerful healing tool.

Three days ago, Wednesday the 19th, I began Instant Shine. I had many responsibilities that day, the first was my psych doc. I was running late and building nerves, so tried to remember instructions. Two sprays, one on neck so i could experience it, and one on hands. I was so much more at ease with calling and rebooking, and they were just as kind back (which just shows how narcissism and guilt are trult products of your own mind, they clearly did not smell me from 5 Kilometers away.

One more IS half hour later and 2 x Instant Honesty. I was ‘out’ running short errands and returning exhausted but not as much as i would usually. I rearranged debts, helped my ex with a prob regarding my sort-of-son (explain later) called people who owed money to me and and made calls to a governmnet agency to assist my dear sister with a a crises she was having.
I had lunch sitting down with my neighbours (family) and spoke briefly with them. This is highly unusual, they usually make lunch, i graba plate and run (they absolutely insist I eat two meals, with them or on my own, bless them!).

I’m aware of placebo effect, i’ve had every prescribed anti-depressant, anxiolytic and stimulant available in au (including horrible life degenerating anti-psychotics). I’ve had all the illegal agents (the best and worst being methylamphetamine and Cocaine, horrible succesors to my prescribed stimulants, dextro-amphetamine and methylphenidate). Codeine featured prominently in my life for two years but I kicked that. I’ve also had and am taking some ‘lightweight’ nootropics. So, whilst it was no doubt that some of what i felt onmy first day was placebo, my natural pattern is to not believe something will work (and Instant magic worked straight away!)

Super glad your IShine experience was pretty great. I’ve been there too, so I definitely know where you’re coming from

Nice start. It will be interesting to hear how things progress for you.

If you’re not already taking them, I highly recommend omega 3, chelated magnesium, and vitamin d3 (>2000IU daily).

Resistance training is also extremely helpful for the symptoms you describe, particularly core training. You want slow, steady, prolonged muscle contraction to maximize HGH and DHEA-S.

Finally, consider increasing your protein intake to >100 grams per day, and limiting your intake of sugar and starch to <50 grams per day. Metabolic distress is strongly associated with emotional distress, and the extra protein (whey protein is a good source, and red meat won’t hurt you if you drop the carbs) should give you a boost in mental clarity pretty much right away.

In terms of pheromones, there’s nothing better for confidence-building than A314.

Debot, really appreciated. I’m after a new vitamin regime to suit my new ‘less nootropics/experimental chemicals’ to life with the occasional kick! Next thing i was going to do was implement a training regime based more on cardio but i suspect you’re right. I get way more from hillclimbing than i from jogging.

How did you guess i was a sugar proponent! actually i a massive tub of whey for the purposes of putting on a little weight (rake) but the texture with Milk is NASTY. Any hints?

In regards to my journal I got a wee bit excited and tried them all on the first few days, without noting the amounts etc, that changed today. I will use a maximum of two per day.

Made another purchase today…hip pocket is hurting but i’m determined to get the collection ofr 'comercial’products.

FYI - in return for a room and a bed, I do the handystuff around my aunts house, aunt lives next door with my nan. They abhore my cravings for chocolate and sugar (i don’t…i can’t put on weight and i gain energy and focus). I mowed the lawn two days ago (HUGE LAWN, the two houses together are being sniffed by developers constantly).
I popped in to Nan’s house for dinner (nan cooks an awesome meat and three veg) that night and was asked in a surprised tone asked if i’d mowed the lawn. ‘Yes’ I replied (1 week after i did it the last time…it’s flooding in east coast AU). Well thanks very much, she said, handed me a pack of chocolate biscuits (5-6 minutes dedicated chewing) and some very sugary lollies. That was using a314 x2 and openness x 2 or 3.

I’m social phobic, i don’t get out enough to test my mones on a variety of humans, but this deserved a mention. Today had interesting results but no time for that now.

I usually use soymilk, and find that whey supplements mix well and taste fine. You can also make it in a smoothie with frozen berries, a little water, and maybe half a banana.

Inability to gain weight in spite of high sugar intake generally indicates insulin resistance, which means your body will be over-releasing insulin to try to get all that sugar out of your blood. The insulin has many damaging effects in above-normal amounts, one of which is emotional distress.

As usual, exellent information. Soy Milk with MAOI rings alert bells, will investigate brfore I try. Buttermilk was another suggestion. Will look into it.

re insulin instability. I admit I have had some strange effects, usually a sleep ‘crash’ waking with boundless enthusiasm or the other way around.

Cheers

While on the subject of SOY, here’s a very interesting report from MHarris I think might change your consumption of it: “Beer dudes”, “fat tires”, plant estrogens and friendly guys - PheroTalk Pheromone Research Forum ("Beer dudes", "fat tires", plant estrogens and friendly guys)

There are quite a few whey supplements that taste awesome. I tried them all and even used some pretty expensive designer ones for a while. Now I just buy ON 100% whey gold standard because it’s cheap and mixes ok with water. Buying fancy pants whey WILL add up significantly after a while. If you really need it to taste good, do the smoothie thing as dbot suggests.

I stopped drinking soy milk awhile ago due to the rep it has on the bodybuilding forums. Interestingly, it seems there’s a new GOMAD fad amongst those guys now for bulking. It stands for Gallon of Milk A Day.

I use optimum nutrition’s Gold Standard.
