Just making sure…you are aware that androtics has no affiliation with lovescent or pherlure right? As far as getting ahold of love scent, I have no clue. I don’t use their products.

That’s a pretty funny website. It follows basic web marketing principles. I have about 10 that follow exact same path.

I actually had a huuuuuuuuuuge laugh with examine over pherlure.com’s marketing last night. The pherlure site is perfect. They will tell you anything to sell you anything, and they do it flawlessly. They even get the sluttiest chick EVER (blowjob lipgloss lips, naked shoulders, and helpless teenage voice and all!) to start talking about “furmones and the feeling in her gut.” I looove it.
It’s called a mini-page. Start off with an incredible earth shattering claim (header), follow with a testimonial (Oh the video is great – Jas can you make one please 
), begin your sales letter (copyright), follow through with more testimonials, bullet points, more testimonials, towards the end add a payment method with a special deal that expires today at midnight, ending with more testimonials. Oh yeah we can’t forget about the Iron-clad money back schmooz.
Yup it is standard marketing procedure. The reason we (web developers) use it is the product needs a punch to sell rather than on its own merits. It also optimizes for SEO (search functions).
I believe it might have been Perry Marshal who invented it. He’s such a freaking genius. Affiliate marketing was a mega-bucks business and still can be if you can avoid the infamous Google Slap. I would love if Androtics created a more adaptable affiliate program (hint) instead of the just posting thing. I could bring you 100’s of new customers a day, but then you would have 100’s of mini-pages like the one I described above, lowering the intrinsic value of the site. Oh well, we wouldn’t want everyone on to know about our secrets, would we?

Ahhh, nooo!!! It’s bad enough as it is! We just can’t afford one. Not for this site. A lot of the stuff here is just for our own R&D. Some of it’s even just to satisfy our own curiosity. It seems like Michael is hellbent on increasing our internal costs, always finding better and better suppliers and ever stranger (and more expensive!) molecules. Some of this stuff costs us $23 a mg. This isn’t exactly a money making venture. (not yet)
For an affiliate program to be profitable for us, we’d have to make minisites ourselves for very specific consumer products.
Tell me the demographics you serve, and I’ll tell you if we can make something with enough ROI to have an affiliate program for it. We might be able to do some of the male consumer products, but probably none of the stuff for women. Best to call me.

As for returning Pherlure, didn’t they give you info when you got it? Anything on their web site? Or maybe someone else here who has bought and returned remembers how it’s done. Otherwise maybe you can offer it on the Trading Post thread here.

Pherlure’s marketing was terrible, it was cos of a friend i went on there, i was ordering for him and it seemed interesting so i thought why not… but i did find it weird, the fact there was pictures of a woman holding the bottles, and a video of these 3 girls getting off with each other clutching a bottle each, seemed all to weird for me. But my mate got his bottle and i got 2 for the price of one with the 3 for 2 deal, so i just use them for the intoxicating but nice smell. They have even made a “Pherlure France” website, and i checked that out and reading the French testimonials and comparing them to the ones on the US site, they sounded so much the same.
