I can’t believe I fell for this scam.
I plan on returning the item as soon as I get it. The problem is, I paid for it via PayPal (PherLure uses IOnlineOrder.com which allows for PayPal transactions). Their return policy says they will refund to the “original method of payment”; I hope like hell that includes PayPal purchases.
Has anybody else returned PherLure (via PayPal) and actually gotten their money back? Please respond.
Let us know if you get your money back or not.
I sent it back today. Unopened with everything they sent included. I even got a tracking number.
We’ll see what happens. I’ll post the results here.

After seeing the Pherlure advertisements online, I searched for pheromone prices on eBay and Google.
I ended up in this place which was highly recommended on forums, and I’m glad I did.
So I guess in a way we both started out with Pherlure…
Some companies however, ask that you contact them before you return anything.
If you don’t, the package may bounce…
So if you haven’t contacted them yet, I would do so asap before your package arrives.
You’ll probably be best off if you give them the tracking number as well, so they know the package that arrived was yours and not someone else’s.
I agree, contact the company to cover your tracks. With regards to paypal returns in particular, I have had companies send refunds through paypal. The only problem I have had with this is the $ has sat in my paypal account until I used paypal to buy something else.
If I remember correctly, there’s no way to contact the pherlure-guys - at least none is indicated on their site…

Well I had pretty good luck with pherlure. Most girls I encountered liked the scent.
I almost ordered it a few days ago, but I guess it doesn’t seem to work well except for the smell, so trying something else, prob from here
Wow. I sent the bottle back just four days ago and they’ve already refunded the $40.00 back to my PayPal account. Their product may be crap, but I’m happily surprised with their service.
I sent it all back (2 bottles, one aftershave) and one of the bottles were opened, which is ok since it was just tried. My advice would be to read the return instructions extremely carefully…I must have done something wrong because i never got my refund…

back when i ordered their email was displaid on the website as: pherlure@pherlure.com and they also responded when i wrote to them about the deal, dunno why they have removed it/hidden it away
Trying to get mine refunded, although it does smell nice but the smell goes too quickly.
But, by the mistake I made with them I have found this forum 
I need some advice though, I’m from the UK so I paid:
Pherlure Cologne - 1 Bottle (50% 39.95 OFF)
Subtotal 39.95
Shipping/Handling 15.00
Total 54.95
So they are willing to refund the product for $39.95, but I need to return it to the US, which will cost another $15.00.
That will leave me with only $24.95! They also need it back within 30 days, took around 10 days to get here, had it for a couple now, but going to take at least 10 more days before they get it! 
So will I be too late?
Has anyone got any decent contacts for this company or IOnlineOrder that will actually help me out by refunding it?

I suggest you just ask some people who like the scent to buy it off you.tell them that its just a step up above the rest of the colognes. ive just recieved another batch of pherlure that i ordered before i saw this. i wont refund it because at least i have something to show for the money i spent rather than hope they give me a refund and loose the product. they are easy to sell to people who are in the market for some new aftershave. or they cud be a gift. theres loads of ways to get back what you paid for them. put them on ebay lol. if they come back to you saying they like it and it gets them eye contact then u have some needy customers who might like to try some androtics products!
Just a word on that. Androtics products are not for resale so you cant sell them on other sites including ebay.
People are of course welcome to refer friends to the store though.

Pherlure business strategy is really great! Although they know their product doesn’t do as what they claim, but they continue selling it and making lots of money! The great thing about Pherlure is they have the money back guarantee! Just ask your self, out of 100 bottles they sold, how many customers do you think will return the product? Isn’t this a great business strategy?
Quite common that shipping costs aren’t ‘refunded’ because there was nothing wrong with them.
Normally the shipment date should count, so keep your coupon as proof (at least that’s our law and the law of surround countries).
They don’t guarantee the arrival date for the product sent to you, so you can’t as well when shipping to them, anything can happen with transport.
Now euhm, I don’t want to make you angry or anything, but the 15 Usd shipping they claim it had cost wasn’t probably the actual shipping cost…
The fact taht you are charged 15 Usd should probably prove part of that, because they should get a much better deal then you.
This means they put another 5 - 7 Usd in their pocketsess…but you probably won’t be able to find out about this, nothing you can do.

The makers of pherlure probably know that they can’t rely on repeat purchases (because their products don’t produce pheromone results)…I too am betting that they have a high level of returns. This is likely why it seems they spend more time (and money) marketing pherlure, than actually improving on the formula, or putting any type of effort to retain their customers.
With most business models its well understood that the cost of acquiring new customers is far greater than the cost of retaining existing ones. The one instance where this doesn’t apply is when the product and/or service being offered doesn’t warrant repeat purchases. In this case, its usually more profitable to focus on marketing to new customers.
Androtics and LS, on the other hand, are very good at making efforts to retain their customers. Androtics definitely goes out of their way to both please their frequent customers, and to constantly build upon the quality of their product offerings.
