I’ve been wondering what effect bathing/showering has on pheromones. Obviously not bathing isn’t exactly socially acceptable now days, to say nothing of the blocked pores you get, but surely there has to be a sweet spot between washing off all your pheromones, and having nasty skin and stinking. Given that most of the pheromones come from your apocrine sweat glands (found on your armpits, crotch, and breasts/man-tits), that seems like the area to focus the attention.
hygienic is necessary. hygienic is part of health. hygienic is part of attraction to girls. I am sure most girls won’t be attracted with smelly or dirty men.
I normally bath regularly and re-apply the phero if required.
Hi Daedelus76,
I found and old thread, very useful when I was wondering the same as you.
Take a look at Are tests repeatable?
Interesting read.
I take a bath twice a week and wash my hair about the same. I “bathe” every day by taking a navy shower or birdie bath with soap and a washcloth, not too much soap, just enough keep sort-of clean. I use an alum crystal deodorant stick daily, or twice daily, on any place where pheromones naturally are produced (apocrine sweat glands). This seems to keep androstenone levels much more even than taking long showers all the time. I also sometimes wear shirts or clothes (not underwear though, yuck) from a previous day if I didn’t sweat too much in them and they still smell somewhat clean. I don’t usually wear any androstenone, maybe 1 spray of Ammo at most now days… I seem to do better without androstenone honestly. Maybe I put a little bit on after a bath, but not much.
