Hi all. First, a brief introduction. I’ve been using pheros for a few years, and have just come off about a year’s sabbatical from using anything substantial. The older folks will remember me (I hope!), and some of you new whippersnappers may have caught a passing reference to a franken-thread here that I started about stripclubs and pheros. Still, in order to avoid sounding needlessly Narcisistic, some of you may not have any idea who I am. It’s all good.
Nice to meet you.
Anyway, the reason I’m writing this post is to pass on a little advice based on what I’ve learned in my experience with strip clubs and pheromones. The short answer, for those of you with “tl;dr syndrome” is simply this: Don’t. If you absolutely must, go with socials.
Now, I know what’s probably going the minds of those of you considering going to a strip club to test out your pheros. You’re wondering if you can whip up a killer combo to get that stripper in bed. Admit it. No bullshit. You want to fuck a stripper. Sorry, Skippy, it ain’t happening. Oh sure, there’s that rare chance that you can hook up for an out of the club meet-up that concludes with the preverbial happy ending, but the exception is so rare as to be a non-starter. Rather than fall into the “yeah, but what if…” game of rationalizing why you’re different, save the stress and leave the pick up artistry for regular night clubs.
Anyone familiar with the PUA community may be familiar with the idea of Stripper Game. Forget it. See, proponents of this strategy tell you to get chummy with the club employees who work their shifts fully clothed, i.e. doormen, bouncers, bartenders, and waitresses. They even say to try to buddy up with the manager. Here’s why all that stuff is bullshit. These guys already know what you’re after. The instant you say to the manager “Hey, man, I really dig this place. You’re running an awesome club. By the way, my name is Giawanna Bangyerworkers…”, he knows you’re trying to schmooze. The DJ? He wants to be left the fuck alone so he doesn’t screw up the girls’ dance tracks. The waitresses and bartenders may be a little more sociable, but doing their job well means being sociable. They want your tip money. Be nice, polite, hell, chatty even, but leave the pretense at the door. Stripper Game also tells you to not buy dances-- to be the guy that’s above all that. So is that supposed to mean you’re just going to a strip club to sit around and be ironic? If you’re not buying or tipping, you’re going to largely be ignored. If you want to sit around and be ironic, rather than waste the club and its staff’s time, go sit in a coffee shop with a beret and sunglasses.
The bottom line here, guys, is this. Strip Clubs are a business. They’re selling you entertainment by way of fantasy. The girls are working a job and that job involves selling you their time and a little suggestive physical contact for a fee. They do not “like” like you. They’re not attracted to you. They’re attracted to your spending potential. Sure, internally, the girls may think “Oh, he’s cute”, but the only place that’ll be expressed is in the locker room with the other dancers. This is not a sleight against them. I could honestly no more hold it against them than I could hold it against a car salesman for wanting to sell me a car.
So what’s the point? Well, the point, as I said in another thread recently, is to go and have a good time. Be entertained. Be social. Just don’t go looking for sex. Can it happen? Sure it can, for the right amount of money in a club with the right amount of sleaze. If that’s all you’re after, save yourself the trouble and pick up a hooker. Can something more happen? Can’t rule it out. People are human after all, and a happy accident of attraction could, theoretically, occur, but if the pursuit of that is your motive for going to a strip club, you’re sadly wasting your time, plus pheromones if that’s your “secret weapon” to make you stand out from the crowd.
So how can pheromones contribute to a good experience in a strip club? Every good thing about social pheros applies in strip clubs as well. The most fun I’ve had in a club was when I was doused in Instant Shine, Instant Openness, and double-strength Instant Honesty-- sort of a turbocharged CTTM. The conversation was oddly stimulating for being in a stripclub, and the lapdance I bought afterwards was quite good, but that was that. If you’re planning on going to one of these establishments, I’d strongly suggest a group of 3 of 4 of you go together, make sure everyone’s in a positive upbeat mood, and make liberal use of social pheromones. Keep the goal limited to having fun and enjoying your strip club experience, and leave it at that. To shoot for anything more is, as I said in that thread I mentioned earlier, an exercise in futility.
