I am a newbie when it comes to pheromoes. I was wandering if anyone knows of any positive or negative effects of wearing pheromones near pets?
One of my cats gave me an “odd” look once when I was first trying pheromone products out (sort of a “what the heck is THAT?” look, but it may have been the cover scent he was reacting to). I have three kitties at the moment and hang around with a gf with 2 cats and 2 dogs, but have not noticed any reactions from them I can attribute to (human) pheromones.
In our shipyard there’re many stray dogs & cats, and I don’t see any unusual behavior on those..pets might react on the scent which they’re not familiar. A black cat stop coming to my house (for food) roughly around the time I started to wear a-none product. I guess it doesn’t like the smell..
mixed a little P74 and TAA to mellow out an old GF
went over to her place and sprayed some P74/TAA in the air while she was in another room… the plan was to lighten her mood so we could not be soo dense with each other… she has a small dog who began sniffing the air with intense curiosity then looked at me with big love eyes which seemd to be well dilated… she (girlfriend) was in a very good mood soon too… maybe the dog associated those pheromones with the alpha members being in a good mood… which then triggered him into a good mood… Pavlov remains with us…
Yes… Pavlov was definetly the man.
I know that truffles produce a plant pheromone almost identical to androstenol, and that pigs and horses both respond very well to androstenol. I know that horses respond with fear to strong androstenone (in my experience), and dogs seem to respond with either aggression, fear or avoidance if it’s strong enough. Cats I’ve heard people mention respond to. The only pheromone I ever tried around a cat was p79. Cat seemed rather dismissive. I was wearing it at 40 mcg.
Once I was wearing a combination of Pure Instinct and Aquagen, a stray cat kept following me like I was the pied piper.
Also, with Pure Instinct, I find my dog to be very submissive and obedient.
So its sounds like normal for a cat to me…
P79 for me can result in humans getting an instant ‘attitude’. The cat may have been responding the same…
