Phero's on Pets

First I must assume Phero’s are Pet safe because I have not noticed any bad reactions while wearing them.

My question would be say you have a cat that your girlfriend does not like. Would spraying IS or IFM on it make her like the cat a little more?

good question. remember that it works by chemical communication with humans. i dont think that a cat giving off pheromones would make any sense in a humans neurology. but then again the fact that a cat has the pheros on is still gettin to a females Vemeronasal organ and triggering the response.

We have talked about this subject before,

Animals are effected by our pheromones but not exactly in the way people are.

pheromone signature is the way an animal knows its owner even before they make a visual. I remember a while back LOR had some occurances with her dog not recognizing her right away because of the sudden change in signature. He didnt hurt her or anything but he did become aggressive until he heard her voice and made a visual and realized it was her.

I have noticed this on my mail route as well. All my dogs know me well but when I change my sig it confuses them so I be sure to not startle them and let them use their other senses to realize its me.

I did see one instance at the hot tub party I went to in the summer that was funny. We were messing with the pheromones I had in my purse and one of the guys got a hold of MX109 which he really loved by the way. He sprayed his wife and the owner of the houses dog would not leave her alone after that. He would actually sit and just sort of gaze at her. The owner took him down stairs but later when he got back up he made a bee line for her. I swear he feel in love it was hysterical.

No it wont make her like the animal any more then now. She will just be happy while she hates it LOL

Gotcha.. My thought process was that she would relate that happiness to when the cat was around and therefore begin to like the cat.

Since its a human pheromone she would associate the feeling to you since its your cat.

I wouldnt hurt to test it out though. The pheromones wont hurt the cat if your worried about that.

I am not fond of cats myself either. My husband is and we have 2. I have a Chihuahua. If she likes you she will tolorate the cats

Be aware that cats respond to androstenone for sure.If the cat is female one it’s like an attractive male cat is messing with her and she becomes submissive. But if the cat is male one androstenone would make him aggressive or frighten and confused.

I had experience with both male and female cats exposed to -none.Here is a thread in witch I wrote on the subject."Dude...Your cat is eating your Jacket..."
Read Gegogi remarks too.

Here is another thread in witch I wrote more on the exact reactions I got from cats.Effect on animals

Word - my cat ate the whole jacket!

Women and cats

Many here have noted that Androstenone smells like cat piss. It doesn’t smell like that to everyone, but a substantial number of people note the similarity. It smells even more like male cat piss.

I think it’s a fair assumption that male cats produce quite a bit of Androstenone or very similar compounds. That could be a factor in old maids doting over their male cats. It could also be a factor in young lasses with boyfriends getting irritable with cats.

Are one or both of your cats male?

Spraying a compound known to buffer the negative effects of Androstenone on a male cat that causes irritation to a female human, and then watching for effect, seems a most interesting experiment.

If you have a male cat irritating your girlfriend try spraying it with Androstadienone (Instant Female Magic) or Androsterone (Instant Gentleman). Spray on the back of the neck where the cat won’t lick it off. Please report back on the results also, positive or negative.
