I love burning candles in my house and I was wondering if there is a way of putting pheromones in candle? If so what products would work best? Just wondering.
Thanks

I doubt it would be very effective…
If I’m not mistaken Tisha tried some phero candles but I think she said it was pretty much a waste of money
A reed or other type diffuser would be better, that way you aren’t burning the pheromones.

Ok thanks for the tip. How would work the pheros with the diffusers?
Ok thanks for the tip. Will try the diffuser.
Years ago thet used to sell a modified Oust unit here for that very purpose. You might try doing that.
I know a member here that uses a diffuser.
I’ve tried pheromones in candles as well…and it was not as affective as it was on my skin. Waste of product.
Thanks again
I’ve seen a discussion on this once. I heard that it won’t work because it would be too hot and the pheros would probably be gone before they could do anything.
Agreed. The flame would generate more heat than would be optimum.
I did read on here somewhere of an experiment using lightbulbs to diffuse pheros into the air. I can’t remember the specifics, but lower wattage bulbs do not get very hot and worked fairly well. I also seem to remember that there was residual buildup on the lightbulbs from the other components in the sprays.
If it sounds interesting I’m sure you can find it with the search option.
Spraying anything directly on a light bulb is not a good idea, as it can cause uneven heating and the potential for shattering the bulb. Below is a picture of a ceramic diffuser ring made specifically for light bulbs. You just set this on top of the bulb, fill with aromatherapy oil or your pheromones. It is much safer.
You can order these online, or get them in just about any craft store.
