I got bored today and made a super diffusion “mechanism” all you need is a candle, something heat resistant, and a pop can (or any heat resistant container.)
Step 1 get heat resistant container and pour desired mone in it (Recommend you use a pipette to put small doses in, spilling is expensive!)
Step 2 Light candle
Step 3 Place heat resistant item (I used a flat steak knife) over the mouth of the candle jar.
Step 4 Carefully place the container with the mones in it over the heat resistant item.
Step 5 enjoy instantaneous yet durable (dependant upon amount of mones used) effects.
I just tried it with IS and It worked pretty well!
I’ve actually considered the possibility of this being dispersed in a similar fashion in swinger’s clubs (help to “break the ice”) and in gentleman’s club (say, Instant Sexiness for Women to make the women seem more desirable)
I don’t know how successful a “targeted” pheromone would work, like A314 (room full of alpha males could be potential for disaster), but I can definitely see it working for Shine, Openness, etc.
Could putting the pheromones into a natural oil base, like those traditionally used with diffusers, make the mixture last longer and still be effective?
BTW, you can buy those little tea light candle diffusers at the dollar store, that’s where I got mine and I just use plain old vanilla in it.
I think there has been some success using mass diffusers with things like Ishine and a/androstenol, but remember the most important effects from pheromones come when the target can connect the subconscious feeling/emotion/sensation with a living breathing individual. Ohterwise we could just spray -none on a lampost and never pay for pole dances.
Good point Renny, and txironhead also makes a good point. You could buy one of those flameless candle warmers and use it for high diffusion. plus I would assume it would make the mones last a lot longer due to the lesser temperature.
What if you had a candle that had been light for quite a while, you blew it out and poured mones into the still liquid candle wax. Then you wait for it to harden again, and next time you light it the mones get diffused.
Try it out. Not sure if the heat of the wax will hinder the pheromones (depending on how hot I’m guessing the liquefied wax is.) But try it, it just might work.
How about using an oil burner, and then adjusting the heat of the flame by moving the tray that holds the oil (or will hold your liquid pheromones) higher from the flame to control the heat intensity. One of these is what I’m talking about (look at picture,) then just add ExperiMone pheromones (or Spaceland for example) in the tray in place of the usual oil.
Also, if you’re going to try the melted wax method, use a plain, white paraffin candle. Scents and dyes cause candles to burn hotter.
This is also why plain candles are recommended for hot wax sex play, as they don’t burn hot enough to cause serious burns, but the oils, scents and dyes can.
I sometimes spot the old battery-operated Oust diffusers at yard/rummage sales or resale shops.
Actually any fan-powered diffuser should do. There is no heat involved so that would not be an issue.
The only real “modification” is getting empty/used refills and loading them yourself with your own pheromone mixes. I suspect oil-based products would work best. Water or alcohol based stuff would probably evaporate too quickly, unless you only need the stuff to last a relatively short time.
I’m not sure what would be involved in “cleaning” a used refill of the regular commercial scented oil. Someone said there was a thread or post here on the forums about cleaning and refilling but I have yet to locate it.
Once they dropped the Oust refills I tried a regular refill designed for a heated plug-in style diffuser and it worked well enough (it didn’t “snap in” to the Oust unit, but as it sits flat on a table that really wasn’t an issue.) As the refill was designed for a heated unit it didn’t diffuse as fast which was actually an advantage as I often find commercial heat-based diffusers stink things up too much and don’t last very long. So one of those generic refill bottles may work okay as well.
??? Maybe just adding a bit of oil-based pheromone product to a fresh-bought commercial scent refill may be enough to give you a decent “low-level” pheromone cloud for occasional use ???
Hydrogen Peroxide should do to remove any residual scent after a thorough cleaning with soapy water.
I’ve seen the “Scent CD” diffusers and was wondering how that would do…mix 'n match pheros!
Honestly, something that would probably be much easier would be to spray a paper towel with the phero of choice and place it on your a/c filter. Total house diffusion. Or, if you’re only wanting to do one room, take some of that “create your own filter” material and cut it to fit the vent in that room. Also cuts down on dust, double plus!
I did something like that at a lunch type get-together. I prepped up a crumpled paper napkin with a touch of pheromones right before the meeting, then “casually” set it down next to me near my targets where it just blended in with the rest of the lunch paraphenalia. If I felt I needed to reposition it it was an easy thing to do (I could even wave it around a bit), and if it looked like things were getting out of hand due to an OD it would have been simple to just scoop it up and toss it.
(Alpha-androstenols like Instant Openness would help boost conversations for example.)
