I wondered where to post this. but i think it must be here.
So the new comers see how pheromones WORK in movies
i will post a series of movies where they use pheromones.
The first one is:
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) - Plot summary) Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, born in the stench of eighteenth century Paris, develops a superior olfactory sense, which he uses to create the world’s finest perfumes.
There’s also a great reference to pheromones in the game Bioshock. At the end it requires to to collect a series of pheromones to attract some of the game’s characters to help you out. It’s a very dark and creepy (my friends say its scary) game, but its a great and extremely entertaining game. The scary factor definitely goes away after the first 4 hours of gameplay.
Speaking of…I went to a movie Friday night and there was an ad for something from Edge. It was a cologne type product, I was barely paying attention.
“Perfume” was originally a rather short book translated from the French…and it is wonderful…you get a real feel for how he did his work…Try to find it, it’s a great read. VERY evocative and sensual…
Hello Guys!
I’ve seen also some reference about Pheros in the serial “Lost”. They talk about animal Pheros, and when a caracter smashes a female-spider, hundreds of male-spiders come to the place attrracted by the female Pheros. Bad end for the two guys that smashed that spider. Probably they don’t know the effects of “Instant Sexiness” on males ;-). Just kidding.
Admittedly I was being just a little melodramatic about it on purpose. Back to the topic of the thread. The Transformers movie, one of the autobots says at one point “His pheromone levels indicate he wants to mate with the female.”
I think you’d have to have no blood left in your body to not wanna mate with Megan Fox. Yowza!
