Since I’m a complete newbie to pheromones and I’ve just received my package 2 days ago, I haven’t had the prolonged experimentation that most of you may have had. BUT, the last two days of experimenting with my 'mones have led me to wonder if pheromones REALLY work on their own or if they just create a placebo effect. I’ve read an amazing amount of hits on this site due to the 'mones, so the first part may lead y’all to think I’m extremely skeptical. But is it really the 'mones working to allow for great social experiences or do they just make you feel confident enough so that you’re able to talk to people and create great social experiences?
I went clubbin last night and decided to try out IS/A and Instant Shine for the first time. I sprayed
IS/A: 2 in my hair, 1 on neck, 1 split across wrists
Instant Shine: 1 neck, 1 chest, 1 split across wrists
P74: 2 on Devil horns, 1 neck
Yeah, I probably ODed with those…my bad!! Before we went to the club, I went to my roommate’s friends house for a preparty (drinking). I didn’t know anyone there but everyone else knew each other, so I felt really out of place and probably wasn’t as chatty as I was supposed to be. The only comment during that pre-party was my roommate’s bf who said, “Ugh, something smells really perfumey!”
So when I went clubbing, I was expecting to get a lot of hits, but no one made any conversation with me even when I tried chatting people up. The only “pseudo-hit” I got that night was one of the pre-party guys danced with me … mostly cuz all the other girls there already had guys to dance with.
I was actually really disappointed because I was expecting a lot of hits, but walked out with next to zero. It could be the fact that I wasn’t feeling really confident the entire night that attributed to my non-hit. So that’s what got me thinking about pheromones being more of a placebo effect than an effect on their own.
I feel like it has to be placebo sometimes in terms of self-effects, but my feeling on that is that if it works, who cares?
However, if it’s affecting others who don’t know you’re wearing it, it can’t be placebo. So I think it’s probably a combination of both–because what isn’t, really?
I think humans smell fear just as much as animals do. You have to believe you are one hot mama who everyone wants to talk to. One of my friends is very introverted and not very talkative, does not make eye contact – and hardly anyone gets up the courage to talk to her. It’s going to take a guy with a SERIOUS set of balls to do that.
I used to get really disappointed and nervous when nothing positive happened while I was wearing pheromones, too.
As for pheromones - Maybe start out small and work your way up.
But confidence is SO key. Seriously.
Live it up! And once you boost your confidence, believe me, it’s like a rock rolling downhill, it just keeps picking up.
And you have a fantastic group of women here who have your back. So don’t worry!
Dear, you can’t really base your whole opinion of pheromone usage on your first time out with them. I have been using them for about 3 years now, and I KNOW that they work! I was one of the biggest skeptics out there when I first tried them, but I was proven wrong!
Give them a chance, and don’t expect fireworks every time you use them. Just stay positive, and keep trying. I would suggest trying one product at a time at first. Note how it affects you, as well as how it affects others around you. Trust me, they do work!
I had a lady friend who used to tell me a women would tell her they wanted to get to know me but I seemed very unapproachable. I couldn’t understand what she meant. I had to break free from my shy and introverted proclivities, open up and start living and enjoying life. Lighten up. Once I did that even before I thought of pheros life seemed to really open up. Somedays it seems I meet more new people in a day than I used to in 2 or 3 months. Your attitude makes a huge impact.
Luckily, men enjoy the chase, so this lady probably doesn’t have to actually speak as much as one would think…she just needs to learn the art of the flirty glance.

Just curious…Not to offend anyone who loves the Neroli , but it’s not one of my favorites…IMO…sometimes too much will make you smell like “too much perfume”! Although it does fade a little. Did you use any cover scent?
Nope…no cover scent. Just straight up IS/A and Instant Shine. IS/A and Shine smelled pretty good…like neroli. P74 had a weird smell…a little stinky, but after a while, I couldn’t really smell it.
Hello, I’ll buy my first pheromone and would like some advice on the best brands. My “target” is a shy man, so I wouldn’t like the perfume to be too noticeable. We’ll be on a train in the morning

i know some dont care for the neroli, i have to say though that not only do i adore it, but i have had strangers ask me to spray it on them. yes, literally.
one guy and one gal went silly with it, and i got mad saying “this is some expensive stuff, give back NOW” !

you can try to expect what a mix should do if there is a description for it, but if your really and truely interested in whether pheromones work or not, try something you dont have way of knowing what it will do.
