Pheros with Your Hostess, Nehve

Being a person with grossly poor social aptitude (I’m serious…I don’t talk to people, don’t have friends, never dated, etc…")

I know what that’s like. Good luck with your experiments.

You know, what’s helped me boost my confidence over the years is learning what I am good at and doing it A LOT. My confidence has increased more since I started wearing pheros. It’s like these products opened up another world to me. Just having people acknowledge me and be more open to getting to know me has helped me so much. Even when I don’t wear pheros, that attitude remains.

I say keep at it. Baby steps are still steps! You have do the inner work too, but pheros can help you accelerate faster as you grow more comfortable with social interaction.

WoW. That’s so interesting. This means it’s likely the Instant Shine that’s responsible for the confidence, as I’ve been using it practically every day since I got it. This is so fun.

For me IS/a is more potent in terms of confidence boosting. It’s a dominant alpha woman “don’t mess with me” type vibe. IS is more happy, cheery confidence, a mood brightener that also gives you a bit of a confidence push

Hey Nehve! It sounds like you’re having some interesting experiments! Your reply to one of my forum posts got me interested in checking out these women’s journals. I haven’t started my own as of yet. And yes, you can call me Snuffy.

Your description here brings a smile to my face! I can relate.

I also had a hard time getting my feelings and thoughts to flow into speech. It was so frustrating. Sometimes someone’s simple question would make me feel as though I had been caught off guard – like as though I was just going about my own business and being comfortable backstage, yet suddenly the stage curtain is drawn open, and it’s time to perform, unprepared and without costume. Totally unexpected. blanks out. A real improvisation task. Like, “Quick!, connect your inner world with the outer world without showing any signs of weirdness!” This probably sounds so strange to those who haven’t felt this way. But maybe this isn’t how you are feeling either, hahah.

EXACTLY! Snuffy, we are so ----->here<-----!!!

I’m definitely looking forward to your journal…or big long thread of your phero experiences.:stuck_out_tongue:

It’s begun.

Wow, very interesting and great post. There seems to be some tension in your work place or should I say a lot. How do you survive in a work place where everyone treats or should I say treated you like an outcast?

Either way, if I were you I would wear those mixes everyday or at least the MX274 until there is more of a friendly atmosphere between you and all your co workers.

Well, I probably make it seem worse than it is. My department is composed of less than 10 people each shift and they treat me nice for the most part..

I am a literal social idiot. The people I had hits with are people from other departments that I don’t work with. They just have to drop by to take care of business sometimes. All they know about me is from word of mouth of the stupid mistakes I’ve made in the past that have affected them and that I am stuck up or “touched” or mean…because I don’t talk to anyone or entertain smalltalk, etc…

A Week Starring CTTM. Detailed Report

I did a little playing with CTTM this week. I “covered” spray sites with my Demeter Foodie scent. Covered is in quotes because I think the perfume is kind of wimpy.

My best hit comes from a coworker of mine that I haven’t had the best work relationship with. It’s kind of nice to have him be nice to me in recent weeks.

Other than that, I didn’t really notice anything very blatant this week.

Day 1: 1 spray CTTM to chest

There is a man I work with who has an “interesting” personality. Let’s call him,um…“Douche”.:stuck_out_tongue: Out of everyone there, I’m the most on edge with him because we have a tense past (dating back to when I first started working there and I made mistakes daily) and he always has some reason to gripe and complain about me.

Well, I think my “voodoo” has been working on him because since I’ve been “using”, I haven’t had a bad day with Douche…and it doesn’t even seem to matter what product I choose!

So anyway, whenever he arrives, he’ll say something like, “What’s the day’s scoop?” Which is his way of asking for workplace gossip and/or official business. So he asked this as a general question when he first came in,as usual. And then when it was just us alone, he asked me the question directly! I think it was his way of pressing for friendly conversation.

On this day I felt like I wanted to talk, but didn’t really feel much at ease.

Day 2: Two sprays CTTM (one to chest, one to wrists)

I think I also should mention that I had 1 spray of residual Instant Shine that I had put on earlier in the morning before work.

Douche said to me, “Are you doing alright today, Nehve?” What??? When has he ever cared about how I’m doing? Then he even went further and asked me a couple yes/no questions about my personal social (or non-social) life, which he never does. :open_mouth:

Next, another coworker mentioned something Douche brought to work and Douche looked at me and shared a little tidbit about the item. He was looking RIGHT at me, as if I were a normal person who would actually participate in chit chat . This is different because normally he (and everyone else I work with) share their personal stories to the air or to someone whom they know will engage and respond (in other words, anyone but ME!..It’s bad when people think they’ll get a better reaction from empty space than a particular person!!!). What’s cool, though, is that I actually did ask a follow-up question to his comment.

Aww…it was a short and simple exchange, but it’s the first time that I’ve ever expressed any remote interest in Douche’s personal life. He was really nice to me the rest of the day, actually speaking to me like a (near) equal person.

Also a random Janitor guy said hello to me in the hall. I don’t know if I should count that because I think I startled him, and I was looking kind of fly that day. :stuck_out_tongue:

Day 3: 3 Sprays CTTM (2 to chest/neck, 1 to wrists)

Nothing much. A worker from another department said hello as I passed in the hallway. shrug

Day 4: 2 sprays CTTM, 1 spray MX274, 1 spray (12.5 mcg) P79

Nothing much. I thought this day was a waste of product because I was a little sick and a little gassy (TMI) so I was just uncomfortable to begin with.

One thing that may be of note is that my coworker sitting beside me complained a few times about being so scatterbrained and unfocused for some reason. Was it moi? :o I don’t know.

Day 5: 2 sprays CTTM (chest, wrists), 1 spray Instant Shine (chest)

I went to the grocery store. I noticed that I was at ease this day. Just walking around minding my own business. At one point I was in the checkout line and I suddenly realized that I was just looking around, not self-conscious about where I should be looking and who was looking at me. I think it was the Instant Shine.

Day 6: 2 sprays CTTM (chest, wrists), 2 sprays=25mcg TAF (chest wrists), 1 spray Mx274

On this day I think I was in a conscious daze. You know like when you find yourself staring straight ahead, and it feels almost like when youre in a hot shower and don’t want to leave? Well, yeah, it was like that, but with the capacity to be functional. TAF, I presume.

I wasn’t cranky or irritable, but I didn’t feel like talking.

I made a dumb mistake on this day. I could not believe it…it was so careless, and I still don’t know how I overlooked it.

I was getting over a slight cold, but my coworkers seemed to act like I had the Swine Flu, or something. All I did was cough once every 20 minutes, but I got lots of unneccessary sympathy from them. One of my coworkers even cleaned up a section of my workspace for me!

They know that I always put on a smiley face , despite anything, so they probably thought that I felt worse than I was letting on. Or maybe the TAF made them pay attention to me? What do you think? Nonetheless, I think that effects of the TAF overrode everything.

Day 7: 2 sprays CTTM (Chest, wrists), 2 sprays Instant Shine (Chest, back of neck).

Nothing really.

I started out feeling pretty upbeat. Instant Shine. One of our messenger guys said “How you doing?” after I said Hello. This particular guy hasn’t done that in a while. I actually explained 2 (count them, TWO!!!) situations to two different people without stumbling and stuttering over my words. shrug

Odds and Ends: I don’t think the CTTM works as advertised for me, but I have to consider that A) I’m using the pheros primarily at work and B) the people I work with know how I am, so they aren’t going to automatically start yapping it up with me even if they do feel chatty within. I don’t think I’ve been out and about around strangers for enough time (just my daily hour lunch and trip to the grocery store this week) to give CTTM a fair report. And plus, I’m not all that observant in public, so maybe I am getting stares or weird looks that I don’t notice. I may come back to it later.

On to the next adventure!!!

I’m playing around with IS/A this week. This is going to be interesting. Wearing it makes me feel kind of like I’m wearing Instant Shine, but I don’t know if I can handle the confidence. It’s uncomfortable for me to feel like I am the “stuff” around the men-folk. I know it’s something I have to work out for myself since I’m not used to it, but it just feels unmerited or something. I just don’t know what to do with myself…

…upping sprays tomorrow. Help me. :o

…full report at end of the week.

Woo! I can’t wait to read your IS/A report!

Also, great detailed report on CTTM. It sounds like you got some good hits with it.

When I read your report it recently dawned on me that I have not received much results from women wearing the CTTM 2 and seeing that I never really geared it towards them I don’t think I took too much note of it.

Great report! I love reading results because there is always something new to find out and learn.

I am going to have to pay more attention to the women’s reactions when I wear this product. Thanks for the eye-opener hun!

IS/A Detailed Report

Day 1:
2 sprays IS/A (chest, wrist)

Had that same “Ummph” I get with Instant Shine. I went to a home improvement store and the person I was with had to discuss something with one of the sales guys. The sales guy was decent looking, I guess. He was even the physical type I tend to like, but I wasn’t trying to look at him in that way. I started out standing with them, but I became so uncomfortable that I had to go sit down on a bench in the background and pretend to pick at my nails. :open_mouth: Knowing me, this is not really a surprise that I’d do something like that.

Day 2:
3 sprays IS/A

I finally found some perfumes that last all day. I got my first compliment on my scent on this day, which is a little exciting b/c I know for sure now that the pheros are diffusing…whereas I couldn’t tell for sure before. Again, I had the “solid” feeling I get with Shine, minus the friendly and tendency to want to talk.

Day 3:
2 sprays IS/A to chest

Nothing really. Again, solid, but not necessarily happier.

Day 4:
3 sprays IS/A

Leaving the building a floor cleaner guy wished me a good night and a Merry Christmas to my back. I wasn’t even sure that he was talking to me at first. I’ve seen him before, but that’s it.

One other thing that may be of note is that on this day, I noticed that I was more amused than usual by my coworkers. I was smiling on the inside like someone had told me an inside joke…really amused by their behavior and interaction (which was no different than usual…just found it funnier this day)

Day 5:
3 sprays IS/A (chest, wrist)
1 spray MX274 (chest)
1 IH (back of neck)

Early in the day, I was getting some stuff ready for one of the messenger people. He’s really friendly and outgoing, joking around with the people in my department. He left for a minute while he waited on someone to get his stuff together. When he came back, he realized I was standing there with his stuff and he seemed to get really calm. Like the friendliness faded and he became really serious. I’d love to call that a hit, but I tend to have that effect on people, anyway. I tend to make people uneasy. :o

Later, a different one of the messenger staff came to my dept. My coworkers think he’s cute. He’s Aiiiiight…but I never felt anything towards him. However, while I was helping him, I was fighting smiling and acting weird (er). :o I mean, I usually feel like that when my crush TG comes down, not this dude.

Otherwise I had a decent day. Coworkers were nice and one of them gave me a literal friendly pat on the shoulder. Again, I took note of the amused part. Usually I am continuously frontin’ with a fake smile or laugh, but I found myself genuinely tickled by my coworkers and their going ons:smiley:

Day 6:
3 sprays IS/A
1 spray (12.5 mcg) TAF

A man held the door open for me in the stairwell. I was walking slow, so he wouldn’t have to!

I thought that the TAF would cut out some of the giddiness. I think it worked. I felt a little less “solid” than the previous days, but I didn’t feel that anxious. I did feel cute, but not upbeat and peppy. I just felt normal, I guess, and at one point I had even forgotten about wearing the IS/A. I didn’t interact with any men this day, so maybe this test isn’t all that valid.

Odds and Ends:

Since I finally found a scent that’s long lasting, I feel like I’m in the game now. Before, I wasn’t sure that the diffusion was happening, but now I’m sure that it is.

So far, I don’t feel alpha or large and in charge with IS/a. I feel a little more compact or solid–which means that I feel less of the loose strings of anxiety and self consciousness. More grounded or sturdy in a similar way as I feel with Instant Shine, minus the bubbly and bright.

I don’t know if TAL or IS/a is best suited for me, only because my aloofness, shyness, perceived snobbiness…is already intimidating. Maybe the IS/A makes me seem even more unapproacheable.

Still, I feel like I can’t “go” where IS/A wants me to. I think the giddy nervousness comes from feeling cute or maybe even gasp sexy :open_mouth:, and knowing that someone else may possibly think the same thing. Normally this is what we’d all like, but it’s hard for me to be nice or friendly to someone who may find me attractive. It’s like I don’t want to give them a chance or an invitation to express their admiration, approval?? I know I’m strange.

I don’t know for sure if the amusement I described is really a self effect, but wouldn’t you think that it would be more characteristic of IS/b???

Anyway, I am going to give IS/A another run this coming week. I want to see if I can pull something out of this before I say that it doesn’t work for me or that I’m not a TAL girl . This time I’m going to use it with TAF (which seemed to decrease the giddiness) and maybe some other guest stars. I may actually be comfortable enough to roll with any hits or effects this week.

Nehve, you wrote that you “tend to make people uneasy”. This may be because you feel uneasy around others and they’re picking up on it. Unconsciously people will be wondering why you feel uneasy, when there is no real reason for it. From what you’ve written, you’re a bit like me, uncomfortable being the centre of attention. Do you meditate or do yoga? Even just doing relaxation exercises like self-hypnosis may help you.

This makes a lot of sense and I agree. I’m so socially malformed. :o

And, no, I’ve never tried the things you mentioned…

IS/A Take Two Detailed Report

Day 1
2 spray IS/a (chest wrist)
1 spray IH (x2)
1 spray (12.5mcg) Taf (chest)

I felt slightly upbeat and really cute today. I was walking around pretty comfortable in my own skin. In my phero notes, I described it as not being a conceited “I’m the ish and I know it, and you do,too…” confidence, but an “I have what I have, and what I have is all good…” confidence. I was walking around a little taller.

I made a minor mistake this day. Usually I let my coworkers think what they want, but this time I actually took a minute to try to explain my train of thought in deciding to do what I did.

I got a couple of unexpected greetings from familiar faces in my building. It was only three, but that’s more than I usually get.

One thing I noted is that I did pretty well at eye contact. One of the people in a neighboring dept had to deal with me about an issue…and I was looking him dead in his eyes.

Day 2
2 Is/A (chest wrist)
2 sprays TAF (chest, wrist)=25mcg

In an effort to decrease my own awareness of the IS/A, I upped the TAF. Okay, I know that “decreasing awareness” and “TaF” don’t sound like they go together but, hey, I’m testing!

My TG showed up that day, but I didn’t go near him to introduce him to my “cloud”. I could kick myself for that, but I couldn’t do anything but pretend to ignore him (which is the norm) and walk away.I was standing about 12-15 ft away…do you think that’s too far for him to pick up anything?

A couple other guys came by that day. I felt decent…I thought I looked alright, but I felt a little of that silly, self-conscious confidence that I was trying to reduce. During my brief time waiting on these guys, I felt like I wanted to tone it down. At some points I felt like I was walking like a toddler, to avoid swaying or generating attention.

Day 3
3 sprays IS/A
1 spray TAF=12.5mcg

This day I felt very competent. I didn’t necessarily have to display it, but I just felt like I knew what I was doing. I felt super-cute, too. I also noted that I was giving direct and extended eye contact when answering or explaining. I was walking around feeling kind of mature.

I still had that amusing feeling in the background. I felt like I was holding back smiling. The guy I mentioned in my last report (“Later, a different one of the messenger staff came to my dept. My coworkers think he’s cute. He’s Aiiiiight…but I never felt anything towards him. However, while I was helping him, I was fighting smiling and acting weird (er). :o I mean, I usually feel like that when my crush TG comes down, not this dude.”) came by this day. This time I wasn’t as affected by his presence, but he still made me a little nervous.

I still am not sure what to make of IS/A. With it, I tend to feel pretty, but as I mentioned a couple times now, I’m not all that comfortable with that. 12.5 mcg of Taf seemed to help with it a little bit. 25 mcg seemed to make it a tad worse. I guess that’s something I need to work out because I think the giddyness and self-consciousness comes from me having a higher level of confidence, but not being sure that other people see the same thing??? I don’t know.

On to the next adventure!

12-15 feet is probably too far for him to pick up your phero cloud… One thing I’ve noticed about women is that when interested, they will often stand nearby while doing something and not paying attention to their target, giving him an opportunity to take the initiative and do something. Or if you have longer hair, spray some on your hair and give a hair flick in his direction to spread the pheros. Body language wise, the back-turn-hair-flick-towards-him is a pretty strong signal, it evolved to spread natural pheromones and works just as well with the artificial ones.

Yeah…i thought that was too far…:frowning:

…and P.S: My hair is the texture as my avatar, so um…it doesn’t do any swinging or flicking, lol.

I guess you could shake your hair like a strong wind shaking the leaves of a bush or something
