Pink Sugar alternatives?

I’ve been reading about Pink Sugar and was going to order some of the sugar blends from elementals since I’ve heard their products and prices are good. A girl has to budget and save where she can to buy more pheromones! I went to the elementals website to order the roll on scents and they’re closed right now :open_mouth: Oh no!

What other alternatives do I have? I like the idea of the scented roll ons in the sweet and food scents and was excited to try the Pink Sugar blends or even some good vanilla or chocolate scents, are there any other places online that make these or similar products with as good of quality and prices as elementals?

 Oh hell thats a dangerous question to ask around me LOL.

Welcome to Earthen Treasures

I use this store alot. She is very nice and I have always gotten my orders when expected and with some cute freebies. They currantly have 10 day turn over which isnt bad.

Pink suger is in the designer area of the fragrance menu. Its called Pink sugar type She is just about spot on with the scent. I get it from her alot.

Bathed & Infused

Bath and Infused is another favorite of mine. Love it, Great quality and if you order by the 12th it should be here by christmas.

Ahh so many fragrances so little time, They dont call me the Evil Enabler for nothing

Tisha

Thanks Tisha! You totally rock! There are sooo many choices and both websites look great, I’ll probably end up ordering from both of them… lol I am going to go broke with all these yummy things

Oh no a new store. Thanks evil enabler, I haven’t seen Earthen Treasures. JoJoelle is still on my list from your last scent postings.

Bathed & Infused are quick to ship I have spent way too much money there in the past month. To be honest I am starting to lose interest, some of the scents are just too weak. The oils are not weak though I have two that last and last compared to the body mists. I haven’t tried their pink sugar dupe. I did just receive their perfume falling in love by philosophy dupe. While in the bottle the scent is dead on exact to the sample of philosophy I have, but on the skin it is missing a little something.

Elementals is a great shop but if you’re impatient the wait will drive you insane. I just received my first purchase from there it was a nearly 3 week wait. Though I do like the Peach sugar roll on I ordered it doesn’t have the depth of Pink Sugar and I’ll be saving that for spring or summer wear.

MMU is due to re-open in Jan. if you’re not in a rush. Many here have said their Pink Clouds is better than Pink Sugar.

Sephora has a few great Pink Sugar gift sets up right now, ranging from 25 to 75 dollars as well as less expensive solid, lotions and a body spray if you decide to go for the real thing. Ebay is also an affordable alternative.

If oils are what you want to try check out Love Potion. While they don’t have Pink Sugar they have a ton of scents that smell great and are popular among a few of the women here.

I like Bathed and Infused second best after MMU.

Another great place for scented oils and dupes is:

~DAY-STAR CANDLE and SOAP SUPPLIES~FRAGRANCE OILS (http://www.daystarsupplies.com/)

Her fragrance oils are made for use in soaps and candles, but I’ve tried a few on skin and in shower gel and sugar scrubs that I made, and the scent quality in her dupes is excellent. You may want to dilute them with DPG or something similar for use as perfume oil - I just used them straight. She sells samples at a very reasonable price.

Oh, no, so many options… what’s a girl to do???:open_mouth:

Thanks, Inkling and Carrie for your suggestions… All those websites are keeping me busy online tonight. The gift sets at sephora are super cute! I might have to splurge and go with the real thing, but if I get the dupes I can try other scents, too! Decisions, decisions

Amarige by Givenchy is my signature scent and I always get lots of compliments when I wear it and since it’s strong, flowery and sweet it seems to cover everything very well or at least it has for me. I absolutely love Amarige! Does anyone know how it compares to Pink Sugar?

In case anyone is interestesd…
Amarige is described as a romantic scent and is absolutely delicious, this is one scent I never run out of… Notes: Neroli, Rosewood, Violet Leaves, Citrus Notes, Gardenia, Mimosa, Melon, Peach, Plum, Cashmereon Wood, Tonka Bean, Vanilla.

Oh my! Earthen treasures has stolen my heart! I can smell like chocolate fudge cake with a not too sweet icing? Oh my… :stuck_out_tongue:

I like earthen treasures cause you can pick how strong you want the scent when you order it and I like mine strong.

whew 3 weeks is long for her. I see the store is closed due to some family thing so maybe that is why. I normally get mine in a week to 10 days from her but I havnt ordered in a few months from her.

Hey Inkling I bought some of those sets over at sephora for christmas gifts. They are so cute.

Amarige is beautiful - it’s a great big floral, heavy on the gardenia. It’s probably almost as strong as Pink Sugar. PS is not very floral at all though, it’s more like something you’d eat for dessert.

I’m torn as to whether I should go with the body mist, the dry body mist or the rollons to try a few fragrances at earthen treasures.. anyone know if there’s a difference in diffusion depending on these methods?

I haven’t shopped Earthen Treasures but this is how I would describe the differences.

Perfumes= Strongest diffusion and scent.

Body mists= Slightly weakened diffusion and scent, but the B&I ones I’ve tried feel great like liquid lotion.

Oils= Stays close to the body but in some cases stronger than perfume. Added bonus of wild increased diffusion when your body heats up. I would think the dry oil sprays would be similar to an oil but again slightly weakened. The oils will slow diffusion of pheromones so I use a bit more.

To really have these home-made-ish e-tailer scents stick around I layer both oil or lotions and body mist or perfumes.

And, yes! You can smell like chocolate fudge cake with a not too sweet icing! LOL I’m currently pineapple upside down cake scent crazy and have bath and body scent products in it.

Tisha: I didn’t see that Elementals notice, thanks for pointing it out I was beginning to think I would skip more purchases because of the wait but I see it was uncommon. I’m gifting my 3 sisters with the Pink Sugar sets. It was a difficult decision to give in and share my new favorite with them.

Ohhhh, I couldn’t resist and went and ordered the Pink Sugar Coffret for $25 from Sephora. Since they were offering free shipping on orders over $50, I had to order 2!!

Actually, I thought it would be a fun gift for my mom for Christmas, so one for her and one for me

I like the coffret sets, they are cute. The tub of body mousse looks like it would be easy to spike with eow or lust after me.

Ok I just spent my childs college fund on products and now am off to spent my retirement money on scents  I love this site!

And this thread is great, so girly and social!

To start: Off to Sephora I go…

Woohoo!!! I just got my order from Sephora

I ripped it right open and the Pink Sugar Coffret is soooo cute!!!
I’m glad I got it… it was cold since it just got delivered, but I still had to try it. It’s probably better to use perfumes at room temperature, but I don’t know. At first I didn’t like the scent, and I love sweet smells, but now that I’ve had it on for 15 minutes it smells soooo good! It’s not as strong as the Amarige I’m used to wearing, so I put like 4 or 5 sprays on, but I really, really like it. It seems light, fun and yet a little complex which is quite interesting. Glad I tried it and will definitely be a staple in my fragrance collection

Glad you do like it BB. Pink Sugar is a strange perfume and I did not like it the first time I sprayed it either. But I am hooked now. The scent is almost different everytime I wear it I pick up different notes. A light walk through mist application leaves me smelling like a wafting cloud of cotton candy. A few sprays closer to the skin and it is a rich gourmand. A combo of both application styles is divine too.

Just wait to you have people following you around to ask what you’re wearing.
