Any texas hold’em poker player here? Wonder if anyone has tried using Pheromones when playing, wonder if it can give you an edge

Hmmm. . . I don’t know if this will help you guys out much, but this is my experience with Texas Hold 'em and pheromones:
This was awhile ago, when I was first beginning to experiment with pheromones. I don’t remember exactly what I was wearing, but I do know I was wearing 1/2 of Edge gel pack from Love Scents. I may have also worn Instant Shine, but I’m not sure. I was the only girl in the group of 5. I don’t know of the gel pack worked very well or not, but I did notice one of the guys sneak an extra glance at me. I think I got second or third place (I can’t remember since we aren’t allowed to play for money in the dorms). I’m not sure if the pheromones had anything to do with it. I’m a conservative player, so I don’t usually bluff very much. Though I’m tempted to try something to give off a dominant vibe to see how that works.

I’ve been experimenting a lot with poker players and pheromones. They’re already really into the whole subtle advantage game, because that’s a huge aspect to professional poker - The Psyche Out.
You can wear something like an overdose of TUTH and be so intimidating and forward that people’s tells will be out in the open.
You can wear Spaceland and screw up their mental game completely.
You can swear megadoses of practically anything and put them into an altered state.
Is it cheating? I don’t know. Is it against the rules in Las Vegas to wear pheromones to the gaming table yet?

Don’t want to hijack this thread, but how do you have such a sharp memory Jas? lol. Seriously, it’s like you have mind-reading abilities. 
i actually play poker professionally, mostly limit HE. from my perspective, against 99.5% of players i can’t see this having any significant effect, since the skill level gap is not even close. most people wear their tells on their sleeve anyway (if you know what to look for)
otoh, i am new to this whole pheromone scene, so i’ve yet to experience any pheromone effects (but soon to change)
from a theoretical stand point, i would think your choice of pheromones will depend on your playing style and the table image you want to project. if you play a loose aggressive bluffing style, you want to be intimidating.
if you like to play a trapping style deep stack NL HE, you want them to feel trust and comfort. a feeling of security. after all, you want them to call you down when you flop huge.
if you’re the chatty type, but you can get into the heads of others, switch gears, and outplay them postflop (ala negreanu) you might want something that builds comfort, likeability, respect and authority. you generally want to be disarming until you put a move on them, have them respect you enough to not run you off a hand, but not so intimidating that they won’t call you down when you have the best of it. wouldn’t that be the dream?
if you’re a little timid and unsure of your game, i would imagine A314 is good. you want to project some image of authority. under no circumstances do you want others to feel they can take consistent shots at you.
from what i’ve read, spaceland affects the user too … god there is no way i want to be spaced out at a table. i have to 'nix that.
if you’re female, i can guarantee a high sex appeal will seriously mess with a lot of players (assuming your play is still decent so you know when you can abuse their mistakes. you want to be fairly aggressive player if you go this route) whatever you can to amp that up, there’s something seriously hormonal that affects men when they get aroused and it certainly doesn’t help their play. if you’ve got a great personality - use it to your advantage. it won’t ‘work’ on every guy (and in fact, at times they may take shots at you b/c they feel extra competitive/threatened when you start winning) but if you’re a good player you can readjust to them.
if you’re a regular at a casino, there’s already a lot of testosterone in the room. you do not want to create antagonism with OD with the male staff, esp the floor.
anyway, basically anything to get the other person to play emotionally and get him/her off their game.
now … if only you could swap pheromones every few hands depending on what you need … now THAT would be interesting.
if you just play recreationally, i guess it doesn’t really matter … experiment and have fun. like use a lot of instant jerk, trash talk, and put everyone at the table on tilt. oh god, i just figured out what i need …
