They say dogs can do the same with cancer and epilepsy. Remarkable how we have everything we need right here in front of our eyes and some people are to limited in their own beliefs to see the truth.

Yeah, I heard stories about dogs too. I can’t remember what television program it was, but I recall watching on it a scientist/animal expert who explained that perhaps dogs might be able to detect cancer by smell.
Maybe this is how some dogs can detect epilepsy?
Whatever means these ailments are detected whether it be psychically, or bio chemically it shows that these creatures are more multifaceted than they may have been given credit for. ![]()
I have a border collie who is just amazingly smart and emotionally intelligent, and he can intergrate new information into situations-it is not just rote learning on his part. For example, he was never trained to herd but was trained in advanced obedience. However he will disobey in emergencies, or when he thinks it is best. Once I was taking care of a friends cat who got out. I was annoyed and tried to get it, and ty sat inside because he was trained to wait for a signal. He looked like he was laughing at my attempt to get the cat and I was annoyed and said to him “You think you are so smart, smiling at me, well if you are so smart why don’t you do it?” He took off like a shot, circled round the cat and held it gently with his paw till I could get her, smiling at me all the time. Well, he had to generalize all those signals- cat, go get" although I did not say that, I said 'do it"and also generalize that it was ok to leave the house, figure out how to catch a cat gently, and also find a way to hold it there- all untrained behavior. Amazing. ![]()
