Now I know that A314 lasts longer than other products because it’s oil based and diffuses slower than mones applied in an alcohol base. My question is, does applying an oil base AND an alcohol based product to the same location effect the diffusion rate of one or the other or both?
Example: Say I apply A314 to my wrists and get a usual diffusion rate of about 8 hours. And I use ammo which has a normal diffusion rate of about 4 hours. Would applying them to the same location result in the oil base of A314 slow the ammo’s diffusion? would the alcohol help the A314 diffuse FASTER? Say perhaps somewhere in the middle where both wind up diffusing at a rate of say 6 hours?
The a314 wouldn’t diffuse faster, no, but the ammo in this example would have slower diffusion. Prior to Snoopy coming up with simplistic methods for the masses of making oil-based mixes, some users used to apply lotion and then spray pheros on top to slow the diffusion. Obviously the concept is the same and apparently it did work.
Iv sprayed stuff on top of a314 twice and it did seem to make IS last longer, which usually has a very short life-span. Its important to really spread the oil base though as obviously the phero-spray is automatically spread in a wider area than the drop of oil.
