I have been noticing, both in my calculated projections and my pheromone experiments, that when it comes to women I do not see every day (say two or three times a week), acclimation does not seem to be a negative thing. Over time, the effects seem to build up until they are expressed. I think we have been considering too short a period of time for many of our pheromone experiments, and with such cases, consistency may actually aid us in getting the effects we want.
With women you are around all the time, I am not so sure. I don’t spend all the time around any particular woman anymore, since I became single. But it seems to me that I have seen the effects I mentioned above with not just A314, but TUTH, Instant Jerk, Instant Gentleman and Panty Scorcher. As long as she* has a dose that impacts her, and some time to be away from it between exposures, she seems to build to a reaction that is very much what the pheromones are designed to do.
“She” refers to women who fit the criteria of being exposed for enough time to get the effect, but not all the time or every day. One day on, 1-2 days away, 1 day on, 1-2 days away… the effect seems to work best if she consistently experiences the same pheromone and dose from exposure to you each time, but she does not see you every day and become acclimated to it.
Given that some things work brilliantly for me on some girls, but not as well on others, I’ve often thought if switching my products led to less congruency with the signal that’s working for a target.
Whilst it’s more subtle with pheromones, it’s not unlike being very Alpha the first time you meet a girl, having her very attracted, and then being a little wuss around her the next time you meet… with total loss of the attraction you’d built in the first place.
My worst pheromone mistake ever came about from changing the signal that had been working on my target (went from 'None to 'Nol). You could actually see the disappointment on her face when we met up, lol.
As added support to the theory, she was a girl I had been in contact with 2 or 3 times prior over the course of two weeks - so my 'None signal had been consistent, but not to the point of over-exposure.
Rossi, Rossi and Erickson referred to this as “building response potential.” Once expressed, the gestalt is closed and you can move on to the next goal (potentially with different pheromones to avoid acclimation). If you change prematurely, as Blade points out, you undercut yourself.
OTOH persistently presenting a stimulus, when the environment prevents her from acting on it, will eventually develop into something akin to an incest taboo, which protects her from relentless frustration.
I’m also very wary of this, and since I use A314 almost daily I try to make sure I wear at least one drop when I’m using something new so that my signal doesn’t change too much.
I remember the past girl I was with became more and more attached to me the longer I wore A314 around her and it became noticable during week 2 when she came right out and said “no dude is going to mess with me while I’m with you” which definitely screamed A314 “provider/protector” effect.
In my experience it’s best to make sure you keep a trace of your usual signature (so if you usually wear a-none make sure to wear a tiny bit when you wear nols).
The flip side ot this is that I have found that after a while people’s base impression of me does not change even when I change the base product I am using - ie go from A314 to Instant Gentleman. No again this is with people I have been around for quite a while and there is certainly nothing sexual involved. And I tend to change my base product every 1 days or so.
What I have found is that over time people tend to keep the impression of the “best” of the products I use as a base: A314, Ammo, and Instant Gentleman. I have sorta become the dependable, “go to” guy who everyone turns to when something needs to happen or decisions need to be made. The guy everyone thinks is younger, fitter, etc. etc. than he really is.
We actually hit on this some in a thread waaay in the past. It might be the ammo and A314 combo thread in my signature block.
