Remaking Why do guys who do...

I agree with Olfact. You may be acting confident and think that you’re BEING confident but it’s not the same. That you even bring it up shows that you’re worried too much about how other people are doing vs focusing on yourself. You see what’s happening with other people and are using that to measure and define yourself and your concept of success. As for the girls, as counter intuitive as this may sound you’ll actually find yourself doing better with the girls when you genuinely let go of outcome expectations. And I don’t mean pretend you don’t care, I mean you see the girl and you make your approach from the stance of just running your game for practice and looking at a blow out as simply feedback for you to work on. You’re not overly focused on the girl, your focus is instead on your own personal development. Once you let go of focusing on the outcome and your expectations of sex or whatever you’ll find that the girls will feel more comfortable with you.

I agree this is the wrong place to post this..
but how is asking about others who do drugs inappropriate?

From middle-high school and on i bet everyone knows someone who uses… should be able to talk about it freely…

but yea wrong spot for this thread

Because inevitably people may begin sharing opinions that might be interpreted as advocating or an endorsement of mj use. Which I almost feel the poster is looking for. Note the topic is not primarily about “rebels” or “bad boys” with drug use as one of several examples, it’s about pot use with the bad boy image mentioned as an aside.

Now suppose a parent finds pot in their kids room and decides to play paranoid parent detective and start searching his computer…the find AD in his browser history and make their way to this topic. Now what’s more likely, a modern American parent taking responsibility for their kids actions, or blaming an internet site where pot use might be interpreted as being advocated?

I see what you mean… but just discussing it … yea even then there’s too much at stake for this site. DELETE!

Maybe we shouldn’t let people under 20 in :stuck_out_tongue:

I mean its just my opinion and I assume the staff disagrees since the topic is still here.
I mean bands that sing ABOUT suicide get blamed when some kid decides to pull a Kurt kobain and chew buckshot…blaming a website for a dimebag under a kids bed ain’t much of a stretch. And disagreeing with the legal status of pot doesn’t change the fact that it is illegal, we all know it’s illegal and we’re discussing it with a minor.

right but there is a plethora of awful things being discussed on the internet… I’d bet we can find a full forum, possibly even bigger than this one, that is devoted to the discussion of marijuana, including minors… But like I said, there is a lot at stake with this site if you ask me and possibly not worth it to risk it… It’ll be legalized in the next 10 years anyways. Alcohol kills people, Marijuana just makes them stay home and play video games and get fat :open_mouth::smiley: Just another stupid money wasting, prison filling, family splitting prohibition. :o:(

I can’t comment if AD did or did not delete it.

But I was following the specific thread, but I do think that cradlerobber deleted it from what I gathered

Totally understandable Radman. I moderate on another forum that has a very diverse demographic, mainly 13-19 as the primary but we have a section for the 18 plus people. We used to allow nudity on there until we had a security breach. It’s quite a stretch but not impossible that such a situation like what you’ve suggested could happen. shrugs Unfortunately legality doesn’t go by shades of gray, just black and white. Since we’re basically telling this kid to stay away from drugs and be more confident, that does in a way hold in our favor, but a legal team would say, “No, you’re still discussing it.”

Sorry about the off topicness of this. I’m studying for my LSAT so I’m in “that” mode :stuck_out_tongue:

As per the OP’s request, most girls at your age are looking for that rebellious type, the bad boy. As others have pointed out, this will fade in time. Frankly I would focus on developing yourself as a more confident individual. Even at that age, girls will still dig a guy who’s got his shit together. Not just the scum bags.

Ok thats not cool and if it wasn’t supposed to be here it would be deleted I’ll delete it soon…

I don’t think it’s much to worry about
