Is there any way to remove pheromones you’ve applied besides washing them off in the shower? I.E. baby wipes, a kind of solution, another pheromone that negates or distracts from the affects of the first?
I ask this because there are a few times I’ve used, say, Essence of Woman early in the evening only to discover that some friends want to go out to eat or something - this happens all the time, because most of my buddies are spontaneous and give little to no warning when they decide they want to go out. This happened the other day and I dove into my purse looking for the first Liquid Sunshine mix I could find, hoping it would distract from EoW, but alas, the guys were squirmin’ and I don’t think it was the MX140.
I use babywipes to remove stuff on my neck and chest as soon as I go home each evening. It’s funny how my mood can shift as soon as I’ve doen that tho - especially when a phero has been wearing heavily on me all day.
Seems like a good idea to get a pursepack, so i don’t have to wait 8 hours if something goes wrong.
Mine are the huggies natural care, unscented, so no extra stuff. I know mine work pretty good, because when i’m tweaked by what i’m wearing it stops almost immediately.
That’s a very good question. Alas with no simple answer as far as I know. This fact alone, if fixed, would improve phero testing and success for a majority of phero users.
Most fun pheromones are however light and do not stick to skin (like androstenol, TAA etc). However copulins, androstenone, Androstadienone etc. are very sticky and tend to stay on skin for days, sometimes even after a good shower.
A good scrub down in the shower helps. Adding anti-androgen shampoo like Nioxin to your shower regimen also helps. Just use them on the application points.
The problem is compounded however due to the absorption and minute conversion of pheros (conversion of androstenol to androstenone and unknown conversions of other pheros). Typically conversion goes from the less stinky to more stinky route.
Conversion is much less of an issue with Androtics products as they have incorporated anti-bacterial agents in their products.
However absoprtion through the skin tends to happen with most pheros. This is something that’s hard to get rid of with most natural showering or scrubbing means. A long stint at the sauna helps and is the best way to make your body a clean pheromone slate. I don’t think there are any quick-fixes!
I’ll have to make a mental note to pick some of these up next time I’m out. I have several relatives who bring their toddlers over from time to time so we’ve been keeping gentle wipes intended for children’s use - kandoo, I think they’re called. That’s probably why I haven’t seen much progress using them - but then again, I’m also trying to remove copulins!
I keep all my To-Go bottles in a little section of my purse, so it’d be a good idea for me to carry around some portable packs of hand wipes. I could always spritz the wrong thing accidentally.
that’s a very good point. I’m not sure if huggies come in purse packs. but maybe you could jerry-rig one out of a freezer ziploc bag or soemthing.
I tend to buy the gigantic packs of that particular brand. as i said they have no scent, but they have vit E and Aloe - they are excellent for taking make up off too! That’s what i started using them for, and just lately started wiping pheros off with them.
They are the only thing i use tot ake makeup off - cuz usually when i come in at night from being out wherever i am in no mood to go through the whole eye-remover, cold cream, soap and water routine. These do a great job of removing everything, plus my skin looks great the next morning.
A lot of drugstores carry purse size packs of “wipes” that can be purchased for about 99 cents. THey have a resealable adhesive flap. I have seen them at CVS, Walgreens and Target. Hope that helps.
I have noticed that I have to remove certain mones before I go to bed at night or I cant sleep. I end up having weird dreams and waking up over and over all night. I get this mostly with Instant openness and Instant Honesty. I was wearing them in my hair before with good results but I have really long thick hair and cant wash it before bed because it takes forever to dry. I wear those 2 only on my arms or chest now so I can remove them as much as possible before bed. I wont stop using them cause I really like them.
At first I thought maybe it was a coincidence but I tested it out and sure enough it kept happening.
Has anyone else had this effect from these two products?
androstenol does that to me too. I’ll be wired for hours - that’s why i started using the baby wipes. As for my hair - pulling it back in a ponytail when i sleep usually solves that issue.
I can’t say that I’ve noticed any weird dreams with me, mostly because the only things I tend to wear at night are EoW or Instant Honesty. I hear you on the hair taking forever to dry though.
I use the babywipes when I’m afraid of an OD. I’m extremely cautious with the pheros, probably overly so. Maybe I should wear something to bed tonight and see if I have any of these weird dreams. I wake up constantly during the night, so that wouldn’t be out of the norm for me.
Well actually i tend to generally have weird dreams, so it wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary. But i can’t fully sleep if i’ve got more than a drop of Androstenol on.
