Revision 23 and revision 28

So I received a couple bottles of v.23 last week, and I also have a bottle of v.28. I have been testing this v.23 is professional settings for several days and I definitely see a difference between both versions.

First off I find the smell of the v.23 a bit more pleasant. The difference is subtle and seems a bit stronger but more “natural” than v.28, which to me is more piercing and chemical-like. It may be the slightly different composition that’s doing it, I don’t know.

I find the self effects stronger with the v.28, where I seem to be overly cocky and often get easily irritated. With v.23 however, the self effects seem way more subdued and smoother. I still get a slight rush upon application but it subsides very quickly.

The effect on others follow the same pattern, in that I find v.28 to be more intimidating, rougher. I’ve been using v.28 for about 2 months nearly every day, and it’s very consistent. I feel 2 drops is more than enough to project a strong image, 3 drops is too much.

With v.23, I have used 1,2,3 and 4 drops and I find it very smooth, more engaging than v.28. I did 4 drops today and I admit that is too much, as some of my colleagues seemed too nervous and agitated. However I didn’t get a single “bad” response, like I did with high doses of v.28 (people just walking away fast, staring at the ground while talking to me etc…)

Anyone have both and can comment too?

Are you sure aren’t just thinking it?

It was stated that there wasn’t a formulary change and just a minor adjustment to the A314 from r.23 to r.28.

There is also a good way to test it and not look at which version you’re using then compare notes. There is that bias that happens sometimes.

Although I’m noticing some differences, this is a possibility.

It’s a great idea to test without looking…I’ll do that and report back.

Okay I just got my new bottle of A314…and I can vouch that it did have a new smell to it…sorta like sweet plastic…strange. But I can vouch for the smell being different, not like my other bottle which was more Sandstone type smell.

Its already been said before that due to the complex nature of the natural ingredients in A314’s scent package every batch can have different smells. It also depends on temperature, climate, and how much the bottle was shaken.

Also the power of suggestion is a powerful thing. If we never changed the revision number and there werent threads - nobody wouldve noticed.

I didn’t mean to suggest anything was secretly changed. Just reporting that the smell is starkly different from the last two bottles I’ve purchased. …and my bottle is Rev 23… But my 3rd bottle just doesn’t have the sandlewood smell…just stating what I’m smelling. I have both bottles next to each other and this new bottle does not smell the same what so ever. Kinda like plastic paint smell to it…strange…but just reporting a difference.

rev. 23 batch 17 has been a very good bottle to me. i have about 5 drops or so left. i ve gone thru about 15 different bottles and this one has been my favorite[not counting the mutant white cap] in terms of smell and effects. i hope the next bootle is as good. rev 23 has lasted longer because it required a smaller dose of only two drops. many of the other batches needed 4-5 drops to get the same effect. of course my body chemistry is problaby different from most folks.

Did the price go up? Wasn’t it around $80 before? I forget what I paid for mine. Love the stuff though

It was back in 2009 i think :stuck_out_tongue:

well not 2009 but a long time ago (at least 8-9 months)

btw.. am i missing something

revision 28
?

No. Just an internal reference for an operational change.

Nothing major changed, just a different number
