The Right Brain vs Left Brain test | PerthNow

Take it with a pinch of salt. I was quite surprised to find I was ‘right brain dominant’ and struggled to see the alternative left brain gestalt.

I came out right brained. I got left brained in this test (Hemispheric Dominance Test determine if your left or right brain hemisphere is dominant).

I saw her going clockwise first, then looked slightly away and she seemed to switch back and forth a few times. After a minute or so I only saw clockwise motion.

On the written test nbully linked to, I got 10 right, 8 left …

I saw clockwise first, for about ten revolutions, followed by a switch to counter. And then back again. Without looking away.

The results of nbully’s test pegged me as left-brained, but I have a hunch that they’re full of it.

I remember taking another test where I got right-brained. There are so many tests, none of them definitive.

But I also recall reading in my hypnosis classes that some people are borderline and could go either way. There are some contexts where they think/behave like a right-brained person while other times as a left-brained person.

Interesting. At first I saw the counterclock-wise. I saw this for about eight to nine revolutions. I glanced away for a moment. Then I saw her going in a clock-wise twirl. I couldn’t see the counterclock-wise again after this no matter how hard I tried.

Block her top body by putting your hand on the computer and focus only on her rotating feet. You should be able to see her turning anyway you like.

All I saw was the silhouette of what appeared to be an HB8.

That did the trick. With a bit of focus I could see her turning either way I wanted.

By that I meant the direction the silhouette seemed to be turning.
