Ok I feel like musing and thinking out loud. You guys chime in when you see an opening. When Steve was explaining P96 in his report he mentioned P96 beings like glue and went on to explain his theory of highs and lows of molecules in a mix. Basically something like -none would a base at say a number 7, while other molecules say TAA would be a number 1, and other molecules would feel in the middle. So each molecule would be on each other creating a good mix, but you couldn’t jump from a 7 to a 1 successfully without something to fill in the gaps. He thinks that P96 helps to fill in the gaps. I agree.
So I started thinking about the M3 model based on something I read from Radman and something else I read from Warren recently. I also remember both Jasmin and Trisha discussing molecule weights and distribution. Androstenone being extremely heavy. Perhaps that’s why Steve gave it a heavier number, it appears as a foundation. So based on the M3 model and molecule weight, the lightest mones would be for attraction, the next set would be for comfort, and the heaviest would be seduction. My thought is that since lighter molecules travel faster and farther they would be more likely to attract. As you get closer you would need to be come more comfortable, and when you are really close then you can be seduced.
Some mixes literally pull people across the room. I think it’s because when they are built, they are built with that theory in mind. Some mixes seem to attract well, but then instantly repels when a person gets close enough causing a lot of push and pull.
So here goes my theory, mones that have the ability to cause OD can be pushers or seducers based on the amount used and what they are used with. So here is my theory:
Base (seducers)
P75
Androstenone
P93
Androsterone
Bonding molecules (comfort)
TAC
P74
P76
P102
P130
A1
Social and attraction:
TAF
P79
TAA
Anol
Bnol
Then there are a few molecules that seem to trascend or fill the gap. They seem to have multiple capabilities.
Such as:
P96
P75 ( I include this one because I believe it also acts as an attractant)
P83 ( I think p83 is a light molecule. I have read and seen it attract from across the room. It creates a velcro effect and it’s ability to disinhibit sexual desires is probably due to comfort. It’s definitely an effective seducer)
P86 ( I have never tested, but I believe based on what I have read that it is both an attractant and comfort mone)
So based on what my understanding of the M3 model is, a good mix would need just a little attractant and social to get attention, heavy comfort molecules, and a small amount of seduction molecules.
There is one molecule that throws me off. That molecule is TAK. I can’t tell where it fits. It appears to be rather heavy, causes comfort, but seems to be attractive too. So maybe it goes into the same category as the fillers. Then there is TAC. TAC seems to be rather heavy also. Has anyone done any extensive tests with TAC by itself or without -none?
Obviously these aren’t all of the molecules, just the one’s I’ve tested enough to know a little about.
