Hey all,
I’m a user of Pherlure until I can get my gift voucher and buy some Ammo and Instant Shine, anywho, whether you believe Pherlure works or not, I don’t particularly mind the smell, its rather pleasant and masculine; I’ve 2 bottles, one I’m half way through using, and being a total social hermit crab, there has been a period where I haven’t actually used pherlure, but kept it with me in my bag, you know, just in case.
My question is, can Pheromones go rotten or bad? I ask because the bottle I was carrying around, the contents have a strange yellow shade to it and the smell is now rather sour, and I’m worried that by extension, the Pheromones are now defunct (If they exist in Pherlure, that’s yet to be determined).
The bottle was exposed to some light (UV exposure bad?) and, while not really noticable, the off colour when compared to the new fresh bottle has me a little concerned.
I’ve decided to use Pherlure alot whenever I go out now just to burn through the bottles till I recieve my order from androticsdirect, not spraying too much, but spraying regularly as opposed to occasionally before (to keep supplies rationed), I’m just concerned that I may be putting people off with the bad Pherlure, or I’ve created some sort of monster!
Hope to hear some responses before the bottle’s contents become self aware…
Some pheromones can break down into different pheromones with enough heat, but many doubt that pherlure really haspheromones in it.
Well, contamination is one of your larger concerns. If it’s yellow and smells funky then you probably have some sort of bacteria or fungus growing in your bottle. Either that or the chemical composition has in fact broken down into other chemicals and created a chain reaction or something strange like that.
About pherlure having pheromones or not…
It’s more of a question as to whether what they use is effective or not. It’s a precursor chemical for pheromones. So with time on your body it will be used by the bacteria on your skin and perhaps absorbed into your system to create the -nols and -nones.
Some people have posted (sorry no source) that they get results from pherlure the day after aplication. (presumably due to breakdown and with lack of standard showering practices lol)
I have kept my pheromones in my car for about 2 -3 weeks now. they all seem fine.
The spaceland is still spacey, and the shine is still shining. My a314 transfered into a white plastic medical eye dropper bottle is still smelling just fine and seems to work.
Make sure you don’t touch the top of the bottle or transfer anything into the liquid. Scent of eros users have this problem sometimes because of the roll on aplicator.
Thanks for the replies all,
I’ve been pretty pedantic about keeping the Pherlure bottle clean, and the applicator spray under the lid free of any residual liquid, I don’t see how any contaminants could have gotten into the bottle, however, its a rather old bottle.
If there is a break-down at the composition level, would it cause a sour smell?
Its rather pointless asking really because I really don’t plan on keeping the mutant bottle, it just pains me to think that at $39.99US a bottle, I’m litterally throwing out $20US bucks, and I’m concerned that the other bottle I have may go the way of the first, which I want to prevent.
Cheers!
Definitely sounds like something odd happened in that bottle. I have never had anything like that happen before. I would send it back for a refund …
