Royal Oil sample in my Androtics order: has anyone tried it, and can I buy it?

When I placed my first Androtics order back in November, I got a small vial labelled Royal Oil Preview with the items I ordered. It contained a drop of dark liquid with a potent and masculine scent that can really only be described as “royal” - really nice actually! Perhaps I’m being unduly influenced by the name, but this stuff seemed like A314 times 100 in its affect on me :smiley: I think I’d literally kiss the feet of someone wearing this…

Anyway, I’d definitely order this if I could get my hands on it (even a pre-release), but I haven’t seen any mention of it in the shop or the forums. Has anyone else smelt/used this? When will I be able to buy it?

It’s called ‘Oud’, ‘Agarwood’ or ‘Aloeswood’ and you can buy it at Oriscent.com (down right now) and also at Zaid’s: Oriscent – Oud/Aloeswood/Agarwood: Zaid’s - Islamic Gifts, Books, Clothing, Perfume, Prints & More

There are more stores of course, and if you feel real lucky you can try eBay, though I would NOT advice to buy it there.

I’ve smelled it also and love it. The sample I got has more than oud in it, though. I think MHarris said it’s got rose, musk and ambergris. I’ve read it was used to lightly scent the current batch of A314, and there will be a future Royal edition of A314 with this scent, at a higher price. I think they are waiting on a better grade of oud before that happens. I don’t know if they plan to sell the Royal Oil by itself, without pheromones.

Don’t know this particular sample, but i’ve tried Royal Oud from another retailer once and I don’t like it either. To strong.

It’s one of the darkest variaties of oud and I prefer medium-dark one’s.

Borneo 3000 is my favorite, with Sweet China running a close second.

Can I ask this question, maybe Jasmin or others will help me out, I purchased A314 about 6 months ago, from Lovescent, I just want to know what is the basis for that formula? is it Agarwood? Royal OIL? ???

I love the smell, I detect no pheromones, but a very nice deep plant type woody scent… I have never smelt Agarwood, so I wouldnt even know if someone stuck it under my nose

I think the original question was about Royal Oil, not Royal Oud … that’s what I got a sample of, Royal Oil.

Jasmin or MHarris could probably answer that best, but I think the LS version predated any testing with Oud or the Royal mixes. Plus from what I understand the LS version is made to LS specs and is a little different than the the version sold by Androtics. I’m still using the LS version I bought almost a year ago and I do kinda like the scent as well.

Hi. The best that I have tried is from ebay by QT store. His Oud Royal is really excellent. Its totally 100% Oud. Even all his “pure” Oud is really pure and really excellent. I have tried all his Pure oud and its really excellent and work out for my mood when things turn bad.

Do tell plz, does this Oud have a very enduring fragrance, like could you say put a couple of drops on a wrist pulse point and actually catch a whiff of it an hour later without having to sniff it close up ?

Oh the scents is fabolous and I like it alot. After 1 hour of using, If you enter an air con room or an air con bus, everyone in there will like smell it. On hot days, its not the same as the heat and the sweat will faint it down. I also tried others that I purchased from the internet and I was not impressed. I am only impressed by ham_firl stuffs. I am not affiliate of his but I just love ham_firl products. Even the Royal Cambodian, oh its not as strong as the royal Oud, but the scents is fantastics. Good for making love. I have tried most of his items and find that there are good.

Oud suppose to smell nice and addictive. The Royal Oud, smell so nice

Wow one drop, man thats fab as usually wrap it up with a drop Raw Power and spray armani with couple sp Instant Female Magic this suits me to a T when im not at the tables with my 2 dr A314 workmix.

Shit, if this Oud’s is as sublime as is being suggested i will have to alter quite a few of my spray mix formulas around.

Reckon ill start with some Royal Cambodian and a little sweet China.

I hope my favourite Asian girlfriends will appreciate the New SMoooTH mE :cool: :smiley:

I try ham_firl Royal Cambodian, its one of my favourite too. I was intro to him when I saw some guy by the name of Belgare… talk abt him.

I have also just had a look in and veiwed a post on one of the threads where this gentleman Belgare… and other members have a discussion underway concerning the Oud and aloeswood ect.

Seems like it is very popular stuff and expensive, good then that a little goes a long way so probably not so costly in the longrun, especially if the Oud helps create a distinct and distinguished type of aura with its various fragrances.

Seems like with a little experimentation could come up with something to compliment my standard A314 application days. :slight_smile:

Yes, just a little dap, thats all you need and the aura is sensual. Ham_firl also sell the “ATAR” that is much cheaper but of course it is not the same as his pure oil. I have tried the atar, good to be mix with some of your favourite cologne or a little on its own.
