Hello there! If you only want one, I’d go with AMMO although Instant Openness and Ammo would go nicely together, the former isn’t cheap though unless you get a togo bottle.

Good of you to drop in. What you’re looking for, yes, I would suggest, IO, which is great for the initial ice breaker. Will help out in getting convo’s going and going and going.
A possible sub in for IO would be IShine. This is more of a comfortable to be around you vibe, not really a I want to talk vibe. You’ll have to put in more of the lifting to get convo’s going with IShine.
AMMO would be my next recommendation as well. Personally, like the Summer Edition or the World Edition scent packages to the original. All pack a similar punch, but, I also seem to get more compliments for the SE or World scents. YMMV. 
With AMMO, I get more of a sexy, confident to be in your own skin vibe that will help when meeting someone new, as your Value is usually pegged in the first seconds of interaction.

I work on a lot of self development and I guess this is another thing I have to check out.

I have heard about how maybe people can smell those who genes don’t complement there own, natures way to find the best match for the best offspring.
I feel like I can sense something like this being a reality. But mabey not something that could/or should be made in a tube.

You say you have difficulty connecting with people. Right off, I would suggest you start by trying Instant Openness. It is designed to encourage conversation. If you are interested in connecting with people in smaller groups, Instant Honesty has been found to be quite effective. If you would like to be noticed more when you are in said larger groups, a bit more singled out, p102 has been reported to draw attention to the wearer. A combination of IO and p102 should make it impossible for you to be a wallflower.
I apologize for the colloquial differences, but I gather that when you say “pickup”, you are referring to picking up ladies. (“Pickup” is commonly said when talking about playing a casual game of football. I’m assuming you don’t need pheromones to help you with sports.) Ammo is a great place to start when trying something for attraction. It is social, yet suggestive. It works well with nearly any other phero product.

As for pickup…
Ammo+Instant Openness+Instant Shine is great, but you need some game to get the ball rolling.
IG+IO+Instant Shine very good, but again game needed, but a good mix like the above with groups.
IG+IH+Instant Shine great for one on one, again game needed, but I personally find the vibe I get from this combo ups my game a lot.

Hey so still patiently waiting for my certificate, thinking to trying ammo first.
there’s so many different types, what one do I go for? double strength or summer edition etc. what’s the difference between them
As far as I can tell, Ammo, and Ammo World Edition are the same mones but different scents. Regular Ammo (FF21) smells like a nasty soap/shampoo to me, BUT some peeps really love it. World Edition (FF22) I’ve never tried, but many like its scent over regular Ammo. As a product Ammo simply works for getting IOI, the most I’ve seen from a pheromone product so far. M-11 the next best, but not quite in the same league. Back to the scents, they’re modelled off of Creed’s Green Irish Tweed for Ammo, and Creed’s Silver Mountain for World Edition. (Do a search on Creed and their scents)
As for the Summer Edition, again I haven’t tried it, but many love that scent, however some say it doesn’t hit as hard as regular Ammo/less IOI, and likely less of the 3 main mones that make it up, anol, rone and none, plus TAA and P130, which gives it a more social vibe. Others differ and say it hits just as hard. As for how it smells, most reviews but not all loved the summer edition scent.
You’ll never truly know unless you try them out. If I had to do it over again, I’d have gotten the World Edition as I can’t stand the regular Ammo scent. If I could ONLY get the regular ammo scent, I would have got it in double strength form so less perfume and more mones per spray.

Ammo World Edition is a lighter, more floral scent. I prefer it because FF21 gives me minor irritation problems but neither Summer or World Edition are a problem.
Summer Ammo has the same amount of basic mones but the P130 and TAA moderate it more effectively. It is more laid-back and comforting compared to standard and some do equate that with weaker. However it is better around women who are more problematic with none - Younger and Asians in particular. It can be steered into a more sexual or social direction with other mones. No 2x versions with summer either.
At 22, you should stick twith the 1x versions till ou find your best doses - Starting with 2x will make things much harder for you as the 2x versions come into their own till you hit your thirties. Younger guys tend to get OD responses due to their higher natural none production.
However, once you have found your best doses and if the number of sprays work out, going for 2x can be an effective economy or scent control method.
