Visionary, it is good to know that someone else notices the “Shallow Hal” effect with P86.
I believe that adding 10mcg of P87 to my 50mcg of P86 adds a bit of depth. As I discussed in my “award winning”
post on P87, it seems to be quite the tenacious empathogen.
Now, I am sure that someone is going to says if 10mcg is great, just think how good 20mcg or 50mcg of P87 would be. Wrong!! You want to have have two people delighted to be talking to a quite attractive friend and empathizing with each other’s delight. With more than a little P87, the P86 effect is quickly overridden and you have two ordinary-looking people empathizing with each other’s everyday stress. Spray too much P87 and poof!! Magic gone. I find a ratio of 5:1 or 50mcg P86 and 10mcg P87 to work well for me. P87 seems much stronger than P86 and quickly overshadows it. At this ratio the empathy is just below the surface and it becomes completely natural to just walk over and put your arms around a beautiful woman.
Imagine an evening of two people standing, staring at each other, drooling and going:
“You’re so beautiful!”
“You’re so beautiful!”
“No, You’re so beautiful!”
“No, you’re really beautiful!”
And so on… If that sounds good, you’ll love P86. And there’s nothing wrong with that! But I think my Sensuality Mix, version 2.0, with 10mcg P87 added, is a definite improvement. Be forewarned, it can have quite the bonding effect!
I agree with you, Visionary, about the “calming” effect of P86. I didn’t realize it was the P86 at first. If you’re going to spend an intimate evening in the bedroom, it is just fine. You want to be calm and there are other excitements that keep you alert enough. But if you want to wear it out to a strip club or to dinner, I think you need a lot of caffeine to make P86 work – not that it isn’t worth the caffeine! This is one of the remaining flaws with my formula. I would like to find a pheromone to counter this calming/sedating effect without clashing with the sensuality theme. P74 may be a possibility. The P87 helps some… Anyone have any other suggestions for an alertness pheromone?
